think Columbus would accept Martin + AK for Boucher?

I think the important thing is that we have pieces to build on.

cammalleri is great in both reg season and playoffs... awesome player, love him.  and he's long-term
same with gionta, who isn't too old, and who's a great leader.
same with Halak, who has proven he can take a team to the Cup

PK and Markov will be an awesome pairing for years to come.

they do need to get bigger, though. but on the plus side, contrary to everyones belief: we don't need our star players to be huge. we just need a supporting cast of large, somewhat skilled players.

it was an awesome playoff, and i love that we were still playing hockey going into the may holiday and that we were the talk of the hockey world. best run i've seen in my life (born in 1990) and as a fan, i'm still a little disappointed it had to end like this, but i'm very proud.

and in the end it's not likelythat we would have beat Chicago anyway. and i don't think Philly will either. and if they don't, that means they just got their hopes up for nothing. and then my spirit will be at rest until next season.

ironic that the habs are gonna be knocked out by a hot goalie

    you gotta laugh sometimes

  • Comment on Michael F. Leighton

"It's not like we're facing Brodeur or Leighton."

  • Comment on Sorry, but size DOES matter

Guys, no need to panic. Rule #1 in the playoffs: Don't overreact to one game.

The boys know this, and they will be ready.

  • Comment on Uh-oh!

well, i'm excited. chances are philly is tired after a physical 7-game series and they will have to play on shorter rest than the Habs, which is good. Coming out hard game 1 will be key.
