The Canadiens might be riding a five-game winning streak, but all the talk today is about Zdeno Chara’s hit on Max Pacioretty on Tuesday night. Pacioretty’s head was driven into the glass partition that separates the team benches and the forward was taken off the ice on a stretcher. Chara was ejected from the game and has a hearing today with the NHL to determine what, if any, supplementary discipline will be handed out.
