I think if you have high levels of alcohol in your system it will kill any germs.
I love how people think that taking a few vitamins will prevent germs from infecting the body. Of course you simply need to use anti bacteria and you wont get sick…. Except its a virus and not caused by bacteria, so alcohol based anti bacteria soaps and sanitizers are useless against the Cold and the Flu. I put AIRBORNE, Vitamin D, and the like in the same category as watching the TV too close will ruin your eyesight, make that face too long and your face will freeze that way, wearing a hat will lead to baldness and going outside in the cold without your coat and you will get sick…
Good luck keeping sickness out of locker rooms and out of a sport where bodily fluids are all over the place. I mean how in the world did we spend 60 million+ on salary and didn’t think of giving them a few vitamins to prevent sickness…I mean what the heck to Doctors and Scientists know anyways???
The best part is simply keeping the sick AWAY from the players…. Even though the symptoms only show 3-5 days after the initial infection. So the only way to prevent it is to actually go back in time and stop yourself 3-5 days BEFORE you get sick…

Yes, flu shots work. My whole freaking family gets them and we haven’t had the flu in years. Before we started getting them every freaking year it ran through the house like, well you know. It baffles me why this is an issue every year.
