It would be an understatement to suggest the franchise goaltender did not have a great night.

But the merest hint of panic would be a gross overreaction.

One exhibition game doesn’t make a season.

Lines will be blazing on the phone-in shows this morning, but maybe everyone – including the franchise goaltender – ought to take a deep breath and chill.
