You’ve got my support 100%!! I listened to that garbage when I was young and immature, but after my daughter was born that garbage was excluded from life. It’s ignorant, sexist and pathetic. I was wathching suburgatory with my daughter and they had a scene with a middle aged white lady pulled up to a stop sign bumpen a rap song, with her saying she’s a “gangsta” I was LMAO, until I realized that is the middle class. Atleast here in the states. It’s all just a joke to them, they don’t realize the seriousness, of the BS they’re listening too. It’s all just a joke, but it isn’t to the trash rappping it. It’s very serious to them and in that context, it’s even more disturbing. I’m 100%! against censorship, but selling this garbage as “pop” music is wrong. I love black/death metal, but I would never want it forced on us the way rap/hip hop is. It’s wrong.
I might take some heat for this, but what about trading for Filip Kuba? Big veteran D-man who’s contract expires after this year. He was terrible last year but has been good this year, and shouldn’t cost a lot to pick up.
Marky will be back soon and lot of people are worried about what we will do with Emelin when he comes back as it is. Our D has played very good the last week or 2. I don’t think we need anymore DMen to complicate things.

Tinordi is the first of many prospects who will get their first pro deals this year.
Brendan Gallagher, Michael Bournival, Danny Kristo are all practically locks to get pro deals to restock forward talent on the farm. Our defence is going to be completely reshaped pretty much with Tinordi and than Nathan Beaulieu, Morgan Ellis and Greg Pateryn all eligible for pro deals.
Hamilton will shuffle out a lot of players to make room for these new young guns.

At the risk of sounding naive, maybe the Tinordi signing is just an expression of good faith. He opted for the OHL when he could have gone to college—in part because the Canadiens wanted him to. And he’s developing much as they’d hoped. I thought he looked very promising in his NHL exhibition games, like he’s meant to play against big men and needs only to learn the timing.
Here’s what the London Free Press said about him couple of weeks ago:
“…the Knights don’t want Tinordi to fight much — not like he did as a rookie last year or at the NHL first-rounder’s training camps with the Montreal Canadiens.
“They need him on the ice as he’s quickly developed into one of the OHL’s better defencemen.”
I might add that he’s the captain of a very good Knights team this year.
Knights are #1 in the CHL right now in fact.
One of my fellow prospect fiends speculated the team and Tinordi were already mostly in agreement about a contract during camp, this was just final details. I believe there was also talk from Gallagher’s agent that the Canadiens are in talks to get the WHL scoring sensation under contract soon as well.

Intriguing, Robert, thanks. A sidenote on the Tinordi-fighting issue: he suffered an eye injury in a fight on Oct. 14, so I hope he keeps a lid on the fisticuffs from here out. Would love to see him play for the Yanks at the WJCs.
He lost the fight, but to a guy who was the equivalent of a professional goon in the OHL and Tinordi scrapped with him before and took a draw.
He’ll have to anyway, talk is he is back this week but wearing extra protection (IE a Cage) so he can’t fight for a bit anyway.

The clock on the three years doesn’t start ticking until he plays 10 games so when the contract is signed doesn’t really matter.
I was thinking the same thing, not like they are going to send him to the AHL. Or even deploy him for the Bulldogs playoffs (if they make it there), with the strength of the Knights, odds are they could be in the Memorial Cup and Tinordi will be plying his talents there.

Well, it’s either Hamilton or Montreal (or Wheeling, I guess), I’m pretty sure he’s not eligible for Junior next year.
He is eligible to play as an over-ager but that is highly unlikely, especially since he could go to the Hammer next year.
He can play as an over-ager but I doubt he will. He will almost certainly go to Hamilton for 12-13.
