Too bad they don’t have hockey clips on the Monday Night Football pre-game feature.

  1. punkster says:

Ouch, that’s an insult of the highest order SM 😉

Tony is definitely being Tony today. Nuf said?

  2. Drive4twenty5 says:

I would agree with that. But for that game I would Sit picard and put Alex Henry on PK line for that game

“Well, he’s a thoroughbred, and maybe your wife doesn’t recognize that, but then again, I can’t bake bread all that well. We all have different skills.” …Bob Gainey “Classic”

  3. B says:

I often refer folks (usually Toronto fans, go figure) to Liam Maguire’s great article when they try to whine about Montreal’s unfair drafting advantage over the years:

  4. 24 Cups says:

I remember.  It was 1976 and Philly had just won two Cups by a combination of great goaltending and thuggery.  The Habs stood up to them and then went on to win the series hands-down with theri skilled players.

Robinson, Chartraw, Bouchard, Lambert and Gainey set the tone.

  5. Rugger says:

I don’t often agree with observer, but I do wonder why we have never heard “respect” comments about any other player, whether rookie or vet.

  6. Storm Man says:

You sound like Mike Richards with that post punkster. Tony is Tony what more need’s to be said.

  7. punkster says:

Ooo boy, you’re out there man. The only story ending here is yours.

  8. Rugger says:

No way do we intentionally give points to the Flyers, much rather see Martin or Gautier get fined for loudly and publicly calling out the ref’s for not doing their job so that all eyes are on Monday to see what the ref’s do.

  9. observer says:

when did you see gretzky chased by 3 men one from yards away grabbing his face from behind all because he was showing all his ability? was subban or is subban to try less hard because “he is a rookie.” this is don cherry hick hick country canada racism = end of story.

  10. JF says:

I’m tempted to agree, at least for the next game.  Last night’s goonshow sent the message they’ll be gunning for us.  If we take out a couple of their top players and avoid losing any of our own, we might see less thuggery in the other two games.

  11. punkster says:

Tony, you’re trying to make something out of this that isn’t there. I saw no racial undertones in the Cyberpresse report you linked.
