Here’s an update from the Canadiens thanks to The Gazette’s Herb Zurkowsky.
Carey Price will start in net Friday night in Buffalo, but head coach Guy Carbonneau is not prepared yet to say who will start on Saturday.
The lineup for Friday’s game will be the same one as Tuesday night.

Kjdavid – I caught your post in the Hockey News under comments http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/13892-Screen-Shots-Trade-deadline-winners-and-wieners.html
Love it when people mention these two. Milroy is a darkhorse and needs another call up.
not milroy. he’s a career ahl’er. we don’t need another player like that here.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG i just spit my drink all over the place, easily one of the funniest posts i’ve ever read. Thank god my drink wasn’t a beer or i would be pissed.
BG not looking to sharp with 3 of his FA signings sitting out. Trevor Timmons looking better and better with more of his crop making the big club. Next up, Chipper? Milroy?
Would you like the usual? Tube steak smothered in underwear?
Yeah but their combined experience is growing twice as fast as Hasek’s!
Neat stat from an article on TSN.ca…
“The Canadiens called up 22-year-old Jaroslav Halak from Hamilton of the AHL to serve as Price’s back-up, giving Montreal the youngest, least experienced goaltending duo in the league. If you add their ages together, they are only two months older than Detroit goalie Dominik Hasek.“
Maybe not grumpy but Sutter in New Jersey is scary. That game in NJ where Mtl came back in the third period…Nunavut beachfront property in January is warmer than that mug was on that day. They could have turned off the ice making machinery and just has Sutter scowl at the ice.
Brisebois?? Table for 4 ??
tomorrow night is Carey Price Bobble-head night at Copps…. hope this is the only time we get to see Carey with a swelled head…. on a side note, was in Party Packagers today with my wife (I was forced to okay? not my choice!!)
saw 3 bobble heads of Alex Mogilny on a shelf…. LOL …they were reduced to $1.99… Alex who? ..soon the Toronto 5 will find their Bobble-heads in their rightful spot on a clearance shelf too
Go Habs Go

Carboneau said there would be no lineup changes against Buffalo, so veterans Bryan Smolinski, Tom Kostopoulos, Mathieu Dandenault and Patrice Brisebois will sit out again.
