Rational to say that this lady deserved to have tokens of her husbands legacy stolen out of her car hours after he was laid to rest? Just because there are many reasons as to why people steal, does not mean that it makes it right. Everyone here who has an ounce of moral fiber recognizes that what these thieves did was wrong. And offering condolences even if the Burns family won’t read them is not a bad thing, showing support in any form is never a bad thing.

Perhaps it’s because it is a new system in place. But I suspect they are not discussing who will be voted the starting goaltender (as done by the fans) but rather who in the SchoolYard Draft thing they will be doing will be picked first.

Ummm…the justice system is not to blame for this or any other crime. As someone who has studied criminology, I can assure you of this.
Don’t misunderstand me – this was a despicable and cowardly act (especially if they know who it was that they robbed) – but let’s not get silly about thinking a crime of petty theft should be punishable by more than 6 months in jail.
Maybe you’d like to bring in Sharia law, and cut off his hand?
