Canadiens forward Michael Ryder is contemplating whether to continue spending his summers at home in Newfoundland and Labrador after a rash of vandalism recently. For the second straight summer, vandals attacked his home and car, including having his car fire-bombed.
“It kind of turns you away from going back there,” Ryder said. “I never had any problems until the last couple of years. I want to stay at home, but stuff like this, you really don’t want to deal with.”
