Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty skated on Montreal-area ice Monday for the first time since April 7, his team’s final game of 2011-12, in joining a handful of teammates, a couple of other NHLers and a few others for a practice of an hour and change.
Pacioretty spoke about the lockout, his health and fitness, and his brief experience in Switzerland, saying he’d be willing to return to the Swiss A League’s Ambrì Piotta club should the NHL season be cancelled entirely. He returned home after five games to care for an elbow that was troubling him.
Below: a video clip of Pacioretty and a little raw video of the skate.
