Congratulations to Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty, whose remarkable season following a grave injury has earned him one of three finalists’ positions for this season’s Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.
Here’s Max’s reaction from a conference call Tuesday afternoon.
Pacioretty is in the running for the award with Toronto’s Joffrey Lupul and Ottawa’s Daniel Alfredsson.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Test.
Test 2.
If Washington loses to Boston, have to wonder about the offseason in Washington, there appears to be a very unhappy superstar there.

I cant see Alfie not winning the Masterton.
[Disclaimer]: I’m a hockey fan. I care about the habs, but probably not as much as you.
While I think MaxPac deserves it, I share your sentiment and believe the league will give it to Alfie as a going away present.
Toronto Sun Columnist Steve Simmons makes the case for Burke to acquire Luongo. I don’t understand why many pundits still make it sound like it will take much to get Luongo. His contract basically nullifies the value of Luongo as a goalie (albeit his goalie value is nowhere near what it was when traded from Florida to Vcr.).
Will Yzerman actually take a run at Luongo? Tampa Bay must find a legitimate goalie this offseason.

I guess they anticipate TB and FLA to be very interested as well.

It would be quite odd to see him go back to Florida, but who knows. Chicago will also have to upgrade its goaltending.
San Jose?
Chicago?
Winnipeg?
Columbus?
