Last Feb. 1, Robert Lang was the Canadiens’ leading scorer when he went down with a sliced Achilles tendon and missed the rest of the season.
Here’s hoping that Michael Cammalleri, who has been incredibly durable the past few years, was not seriously hurt today. He’s to have an MRI probably tomorrow, if not tonight, with results to be revealed on Monday.
Cammy played 80 games with the Los Angeles Kings in 2005-06, 81 with L.A. the following year, 63 for the Kings in 2007-08 – he missed 17 with a rib injury – and 81 with Calgary last year. He’s played all 55 games for the Canadiens this year.
