Editor’s note: This is the first in what will be a regular feature as The Gazette’s Kevin Mio sits down one-on-one with members of the Canadiens – and some of their opponents – for interviews dealing with a wide variety of topics. Mio gets things started with Mike Komisarek, as the 6-foot-4, 240-pound defenceman discusses topics ranging from yoga to his favourite place to eat in Montreal.
Here’s a sample of the questions Komisarek answered:
If you hadn’t become an NHL player, what career path do you think you would have followed?
“That’s a tough question. I don’t know where I would have ended up, but I know where I wanted to end up if I didn’t play hockey. I wanted to be a golf pro or a baseball player – those guys seem to have it pretty easy. As a young kid, I was always involved in sports and always wanted to be some kind of athlete.”
