The Canadiens had nine players on the ice this morning at the Wachovia Center: Glen Metropolit, Paul Mara, Ben Maxwell, Benoit Pouliot, Mathieu Darche, Jaroslav Spacek, Carey Price, Sergei Kostitsyn and Ryan O’Byrne.
Few players were in the dressing room after the skate – Metro, Darche, O’Byrne and Price.
The Canadiens and the league had Brian Gionta, Jaro Halak and Dominic Moore available for formal interviews afterward.
It was a light session on the ice: Darche took a turn wearing Price’s gloves to try to stop a shot or two, to less than stellar reviews from their owner.
