If you follow the Canadiens on RDS – and everyone does, right? – you’ll be hearing a new voice in the broadcast booth this season.
Marc Denis takes over from Benoit Brunet as Pierre Houde’s analytical (we hope) partner.
Denis ended his 11-year career with one appearance for the Canadiens during the 2008-’09 season.
Fearless prediction, based on his RDS studio work to date: Denis will be an upgrade
• Richard Labbé’s La Presse feature on Denis
• Steven Hindle on possible pickups
• Mike Cammalleri goes to school this week
• Eyes on the Prize looks at 25-year-old Canadiens, including DD and Alexei Yemelin
• TSN and the coaches-in-waiting
• The voters of Nassau County vote today, with the future of the Islanders in the balance. They should have the option of voting “Yes, we want a team … but not this team”.
• Vintage Down Goes Brown on Opening Night in Winnipeg. Guess who the visitors will be at the real Oct. 9 opener?
