Anyone see the Mike Komisarek interview on TSN tonight. He was saying that he and Dion Phanouf sat side by side on the plane ride back from Florida “brainstorming” ways to solve the Leafs problems. Ha. Can you imagine what that brainstorming session would have sounded like. “Duh, I don’t know what’s wrong, do you know what’s wrong?” “Duh, I don’t know”
must have been a long, awkward, quiet flight!
I suspect they made themselves sound particularly intelligent by referring to each other as Mr. Komisarek and Mr. Phaneuf.

Just have to keep racking up those points. Hopefully we can jump a few teams so we can say “hey we were only a few games out. If it wasnt for our injuries…” etc. Sens are going to be waiting for the rematch should be great.
Nice one. Spent the evening at Hurley’s with the boys and while we had lots of laughs and some critical comments about some of the absolute ineptitude the Habs display trying to clear the zone overall the evening was entirely satisfactory. Cole is an absolute sketch, PK and Markov are rock solid, Price is on fire and DD finds ways to pull a rabbit out of a hat at the most opportune moments.
Then there’s the oddities. St. Denis and Campoli together seemed other worldly, particularly with St. Denis rushing the Ottawa forwards at our blue line and Campoli charging down the ice with Subbanian moves. The world gone all topsy turvy. And Bork Bork, the Swedish Meatball, with chance after glorious chance and naught to show for them.

DD just keeps getting better and better. He so good at finding his teammates with the puck. He knows how to hold on to the puck until the right play develops. The Habs may be a one-line team right now, but that line is fun to watch. I would love to see the stats since January for that line compared to the rest of the league.
They are the 2nd highest scoring line over the last month.

Nice win. Forgot that we had dominated Ottawa 6-2 on Dec. 27th, RC’s 1st win. Add that game to the convincing wins we had over the Red Wings, Rangers, Jets, and even the 5 zip win over the Leafs, and although its illogical to say it bodes well for next year, at least it shows the potential of this group of players.

Integrity of the game? Are you high? This league lost its integrity when it expanded into states where hockey cannot even be played outside during the winter. It lost its integrity when guys started to get paid millions of dollars to play a simple game. Cole is a class act player who had a little fun at the expense of no one. Go to sleep child, school starts bright and early tomorrow morning, and boy, you can’t spare to miss any of it.
If you get fined, send the bill to me Cole. I will pay it. Everyone over 16 years old (and 99% of those under 16 years old as well) loved what you did.
