        hehe

Or he can emulate “one of the games greats”, Lafleur, in similar situation, and retire. Then make a comeback a couple of years later with the Rangers.

that would be awesome, if only PG would acquiesce to his request and trade him to Alaska in the ECHL

No I was watching TSN Montreal Regional Channel tonight and during the second intermission he was in the booth with Dave Randorf while John Lu and Francois Gagnon were in the Habs lobby.

Tony M is a moron. He doesn’t know anything about hockey at all. I am certainly glad he is not a GM.

He thinks he knows what he is talking about, just watching him on the TSN Montreal he looks so arrogant.

There once was a team in a tailspin,
Its fan base expressing much chagrin.
    Its power play was lank,
    And so many cried “Tank!”
But damn, they just posted another win.

Math according to Bertuzzi the Bullish! 10-2=8!!!

2 in the books 8 to go for poster Bertuzzi’s 10 W’S in a row.

I am loving your optimism Bertuzzi.

  7. Freakin hilarious that Tony M is still preaching Tanking. That man mentions Pittsburgh and Chicago and says tanking is the only way to win the Cup.
Does he mention the other 20 last place teams over the years that have sucked for decades and not even made the playoffs? NO.
    Tanking is for losers.
Make the playoffs, if not take your draft position and draft the best possible player made available to you. Just like 2005. The entire Habs world wanted two French losers and look where they are now.
Where’s all the 2003 draft talk now? AK is solid, and the clowns that everyone was comparing AK to are lost. Carter, Richards, Getzlaf…. Bah humbug.
Keep going you crazy assed Habs, no sense doing things the easy way now.

      I second that emotion.
Go Habs Go! (And not to last again, damnit!)

2005 was the year after the lockout, and as such every team in the league was in a lottery… the Canadiens got lucky and managed the 5th overall pick. They made a great selection.

2003 however was a mistake. Carter, Richards and Getzlaf are all still better than AK. AK isn’t a terrible player, but instead of hitting a homerun and bringing in a Hart or Norris canditate like many other teams did, they drafted AK… (Although some later draft picks in 2003 turned out to be pretty good).
