Columbus has a lock on 30th, so this game amounts to jockeying for draft lottery position.
Scott Gomez and Aaron Palushaj return from eye injuries, and armchair general managers – yes, there are a few in Montreal – will be asking why Louis Leblanc is in Hamilton to make way for Gomez and Palushaj.

I always think of Lucic as “lurch”, but I can understand the confusion when there are so many neanderthals on the Goons (aka Bruins). They have already tanked. They didn’t mortgage the future to make the playoffs. They unloaded contracts and players, some like Gill that would’ve been useful in the postseason.
They accumulated picks and prospects. They have a figurehead coaching the team. They can’t do any more to tank. It’s done.
Next comes the draft and rebuild (or whatever you want to call it), but before all that, they need to play hard every game, and finish this season from hell, on a positive, in preparation for next season; so…Go Habs Go!
PLayoffs are out of reach, but it doesn’t mean I would ever cheer the team to lose.

Brutal officiating blown call on Campoli and interference on White. If there is one thing the NHL should be doing is making sure the officials are accountable for their on ice calls and make them better to call what is happening.
