Jaro signs

The Canadiens playoff hero is locked up for four seasons at $15 million  in St. Louis.

That’s a nice raise on the $800,000 Jaro Halak was paid last season.

  3. Olay Olay says:

the whole boivin clique will be fired soon! So the boss tells the highest level employee “I will pay you your salary for only another year but I will now assist you on every decision your brain makes for the company” – just who is calling the shots right now?

  4. JIMVINNY says:

Typical doom and gloom nonsense.  I won’t say you never disapoint, because that would be a lie.

  5. sillywalk says:

Why, because he has an opinion? Intolerant much?

  6. punkster says:

Classic THF…simply classic. Please drag this one out whenever the whiners show up.

  7. JIMVINNY says:

That kid has one funky looking faux-hawk going on.

  8. Sheldon says:

Typical rose-colored nonsense. You never disappoint!

  9. Olay Olay says:

Question now becomes since Habs have their hands tied AND they just kept Price who they obviously think is BETTER than Halak, how on earth can they offer him less than Halak got? Someone’s offer sheet seems a lot more possible soon!

  10. SLONCOLD says:

did we test leighton? 17shots, 28shots and 30 shot shutouts….. much of those shots were perimeter shots from bad angles…. did you guys watch teh games?

  11. JIMVINNY says:

MAybe you could also spend 0 time at this site.  That would be nice.

  12. ZepFan2 says:

Nope, you stated that Leighton did nothing in those SO wins. If that works for Leighton, why does it not work the same for Halak?

I’ll answer that for you…you’re a Halak fan.

  13. punkster says:

Hahaha…it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity here! Good research.

  14. JIMVINNY says:

I haven’t said that I thinks it’s the right decision at all.  I like Price, so I like the decision, but that doesn’t mean I’m sure it was correct.  As I said above, we WILL see.  as in future tense.  No one knows yet.

  15. AH says:

72′, I was sooo thinking the same thing.

  16. ZepFan2 says:

Sarcasm is not you’re strong suit.

Stick to what you know best…bitching and moaning.

  17. punkster says:

LOL…the Price/Halak controversy continues. Just wait until Price’s trade is announced ;)

  18. GrimJim says:

The numbers in my post are what the Canadiens would have had to pay Halak for him to take home the same dollars as he will take home from the Blues. Clear as mud, eh?

“Punch Imlach would tell the press he was calling up someone from the minors who was going to take care of me. So I would skate by the Leafs bench and say “Who ya got for me today, Punch? Send him out.” – John Ferguson

  19. TripleX says:

I have been critical of his attitude and mental toughness at times, but never in a personal attack way.

Yes I think it was the wrong decision and you think it was the right one.  Big deal dude.  It is called a diffence of opinion and no reason to get angry or dish out insults.  Not everyone is going to agree with you and you might as well get used to it.
