Defenceman Roman Hamrlik missed practice today but he joined his teammates on the flight to Minnesota and is likely to play tomorrow night against the Wild.
Hamrlik left Tuesday’s game against Carolina after he was struck in the left calf by a shot. He suffered a cut which required several stitches.
"There was a lot of pain last night but it’s much better today," said Hamrlik. "I’ll skate tomorrow and then it will be a game-time decision."
But coach Guy Carbonneau seemed to indicate the decision has been made. Said Carbo: "I don’t see any reason why he won’t be able to play. We just have to protect the wound."
