The Canadiens have recalled goaltender Jaroslav Halak from the Hamilton Bulldogs for tonight’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He will serve as Cristobal Huet’s backup as Carey Price recuperates from a virus.
Patrice Brisebois returns to the lineup tonight, meaning Mark Streit will move to one of the forward lines. Still no word on which forward will be left in the press box.

That’s a very tempting one. I doubt Washington would go for it – and I suspect Montreal would. But if it was me, I wouldn’t.
The reason: I think either Plekanic or Komiserik could be an all-star… they’re two of my 4-5 players on the team… and even though Halak is expendable, he’s worth something in another trade.
Good one though – I think most people would go for it. Ovechkin certainly is worth a ton.
