Habs-Leafs in 3D Saturday

The Canadiens-Toronto Maple Leafs game Saturday will be available in 3D on Hockey Night in Canada. Here’s the link from HNIC. It begged my question on Twitter last night, “Do the Leafs even have 3 D?” But Dion Phaneuf is back in Toronto’s lineup tonight, so I guess they do.

Videotron subscribers won’t need a 3D set to watch, but they will need goofy glasses. With Bell, you’ll need a 3D set. Check with your signal provider – the information’s probably on their websites – for more details.

Sorry but it’s Marone in my Eastern European background.  I’m not Italian.

It’s actually Mad’on… They are referencing the madonna – It just sounds like marone when spoken with a jersey accent.

  3. RetroMikey says:

Funny my wife cries “Oh Marone” in the bedroom all the time when RetroMikey is in the bedroom,  does yours?

Does the Leafs have ice girls? ‘Cause I’ll watch that in 3D….

  6. Josh says:

What’s the point of watching a hockey game in 3D? Really, it can’t be that much better, if at all, with the cameras angled from above.

This is what I tweeted back to Stubbs last night

“Leafs – Bringing truculence and suckulence to the third dimension.”

Maybe you need some action in the bedroom so you can stop coming on here crying all the time.

  9. FormalWare says:

Oh, I have GOT to retweet that – right now! Nice one, Mr. Stubbs!

  10. RetroMikey says:

I cannot picture now or in the future to wear 3D glasses at home with the family and friends watching TV.

I’ll stick to watching TV on my HD plasma at home without the 3D effect and glasses.

    3D TV?  What a joke.

What’s next?  3D action in the bedroom?

    Oh marone!

Hope the CBC has an extended warning before the broadcast. Cherry’s suit is sure to cause seizures in 3D

  14. Danno says:

I, along with millions of other viewers will be suing the CBC after Phaneuf’s fauxhawk in 3D blows our TV’s picture tubes. If that doesn’t do it, then Cherry’s suit is sure to do the trick.
