Habs lack penalty-killer instinct

In today’s Montreal Gazette, Pat Hickey writes that the Canadiens lack a penalty-killing instinct this season, but there are signs the team could be turning things around. Currently ranked 21st in the NHL, the Habs haven’t allowed a power-play goal in the last two games and were able to kill off a lengthy 5-on-3 against the Bruins on Thursday night.

"We’re not just a stagnant box out there; we’re constantly forcing and trying not to let them set up," Tom Kostopoulos said. "If they’re gonna beat us, they’ll have to do it with a great play."
