Colleague Pat Hickey and I just bumped into four Canadiens fans at a burger joint called The Greene Turtle, a popular watering hole/sports bar around the corner from the Verizon Center.
Montrealers, all: Stéphane Bédard, François Lacasse, Christopher Côté and David Patrick Neil. All but Neil were wearing their white Canadiens jerseys; Neil has only a red sweater, and he wasn’t about to blend into tonight’s red sea of Capitals jerseys, so he wore a white T-shirt.
Loved the Habs jerseys these boys were wearing, emblazoned with the numbers and names of Zednik, Kovalev and Perezhogin. But what I liked most was Bédard’s headgear, which he’ll wear tonight. Check it out below, front and back views.
