I’ll bite. I don’t complain much about the Habs, and I am very scared to make a move. They rarely work and I really don’t think that we’re a serious contender this season…the addition of one impact player will not change that. Unless one of our goalies gets red-hot in the post-season, we don’t really have much of a chance to contend with a strong, skilled team like Anaheim, Dallas or even Ottawa. Mortgaging the future to make a premature run this season just doesn’t make sense to me.

I honestly hope Bob has a few aces up his sleeves. I know this is wishful thinking but I really hope Hossa, Havlat & Tuomo Ruutu from Chicago. I know it’s risky because of Havlat being a injury freak and Ruutu being hurt throughout his career but the upside would be huge. Havlat is extremely offensively gifted and Ruutu has an awesome edge to his game. Tough as nails.
