Gorges’s ironman streak ends at 150 games

Defenceman Josh Gorges will not play tonight vs the Washington Capitals, resting his injured knee. P.K. Subban is definitely in.

Gorges’s team-leading ironman streak ends at 150 games, the last he missed being Dec. 3, 2009. Hal Gill now takes the team lead, playing his 91st straight tonight in Washington.

Not for what we gave up…..I was just thinking salary wise.  I would love to use the money for a forward but with Patch up here now the top 6 should be able to do the damage.  I guess I was just looking for maybe a bigger name.  Waiting to see the next move  PG has with all the D-men up here.

jimmy this wasn’t a little pricey this was larceny by gauthier he robbed snow and the islanders!

missed the first period and half of the second, how were the goals?  What happened?  Good acquisition, little pricey I think, but I’ll give PG a wait and see on this one.  Now who are the odd men out?  Weber and Picard/ waiver wire or trade bait?  Should be interesting…..

    Unbelievable…stay OUT of the box.

  5. slapshot777 says:

Seems like in the last minute of a period they go into a brain cramp. Eller giveaway up the middle, Hamrlik gets the puck guess what, a turnover and the Habs never get out of the zone for the entire last minute. Simply brutal.

  9. MTLForever says:

This game could be a lot worse right now, Price making some big saves to keep it down plus some guys are blocking out there. Varlamov is making some big saves to keep us off the board.

  10. lavie says:

The whole team is out of shape. Every team is up and down during the course of playing 82 games. Hope the team resumes soon.

  11. slapshot777 says:

Habs not playing with any intensity. Just going through the motions. No speed, can’t make a tape to tape pass. The players are not picking up their defensive responsibilities.

another give away by gill, resulted in  the second goal————what else is new

Hope Wisniewski means Picard sent back to Hamilton. Sick and tired of this old man Martin’s team giving up late goals or chances as period nears end. HUGE mistake letting Boucher leave!
