But please, don’t tell me you trust anything published in those articles until it’s confirmed by the team? I know however, that when the Gazette publishes something, they’ve done their homework and it will not turn out to be bs. When I saw the La Presse this morning, I didn’t believe it. I said, “ah, I’ll go check a few sites and then I’ll believe it”.
That’s not the sound of a credible news source, is it?
But hey, if they did their homework and knew it was a solid, 100% confirmed story, then fine. Good for them, they did their jobs.

Im so proud that the canadiens have a guy like Brian Gionta as captain of this team. Some here feel as though Cammy or georges would have been better choices but i disagree completly. Cammalleri can be a leader but he just doesnt have the stature of a captain sometimes he is a little cocky for my liking however he is a great goalscorer and a good team guy. Josh Georges is just too young to be given the captaincy although he acts mature in front of the media and lays it all on the line on the ice, i still think he has a while before he can be can be looked up to by teammates. Brian gionta is a rolemodel, he works hard every game, is not overly outspoken and just has the overall demeanor of a captain. I think he can be one of the best in years and by the end of his captaincy we will be putting him in the same category as the greats(beliveau , Koivu….)
you would argue incorrectly. Lapierre in the category of Neil, Carcillo? even Avery can back up his mouth a lot better than Lapierre.
this team needs a player or 2 who create some respect from our opponents – and we don’t have any – Lapierre actually contributes to the problem.
The Laraque experiment failed miserably because he was injured and washed up – not because the team didn’t need him – he just couldnt do the job. This team could really use a Clarkson, Rupp, Neil, Prust – maybe all of em.
Here’s my idea – go get a “local” player or 2 who can fill that role..how bout Paul Bisonette or maybe P3L from NJ…now you kill 2 birds with one stone.
A captain is one who leads by example, provides leadership in the room and on ice, shows up every game, makes the important play and/or scores timely goals. He should be a member of the team for the next few years and highly respected off the ice. In these criteria my choice would be :
1. Mike Cammallerie 2. Brian Gionta and 3. Josh Georges

I clearly remember Gauthier saying that, and unless La Presse was baught out by Molson, then this was not announced by the Habs.
Who knows, maybe the Habs botched it and let the news leak and now we all know. Or, maybe certain people were told to keep their mouths shut, and they couldn’t.
All I know is that it woulda been nice for everyone to wait for the official live announcement from the Habs.

Mike, unfortunately, you’re the one who always plays the ‘language issue’ card on this site. This is not the first time you’ve taken an issue and turned it into a language thing.
This is not the forum for this kind of bs. Take your hating elsewhere, and talk about hockey here, please.
The stereotypical goon of yesteryear no longer exists in the NHL. They are simply not effective enough within the new rules. Ten years ago they could do their thing, while making up for their lack of ability by hooking, holding, tripping, etc. With those things being called much more closely, and with the powerplay as important as it is today, there is no room on a team for someone like a Georges Laraque, unless that person can contribute.
Goons don’t survive in today’s NHL, but pests flourish. They’re different, in that they usually don’t have the overwhelming size, and that given a few seconds with the puck, they can actually make things happen. Look at Carcillo, Avery, Neil. These are the types of players that can rattle the opposition without the team’s skill level taking a big hit.
I would argue that we already have that kind of prototype pest in Maxime Lapierre, only he needs to do a little less talking and a little more scoring.
Look I just can’t stand anything they publish or blabb about on the air. They just come across as arrogant and self protecting people. It’s like they feel everyone is out the get them, and eliminate the french language, make the Habs an english speaking team only, etc…
They always start the dumbest debates on the radio, and each one always has to spin into a language issue. It’s sad and pathetic. Then they’ll have “breaking news”, and it will turn out to either be a lie or something totally irrelevant. But in the end, all they’re doing is crying for attention.
There are many people in the media that I respect, and none of them ever do half the dumb stuff that the french media does. The Gazette never makes fun of the Habs players, and they never have cartoon comics to make fun of the players. Mitch Melnick never comes out with language debates or those famous “breaking news” stories. Same goes for the guys in the morning on the Team 990, they’re not biased towards the english players. When someone has a good game, they say it. When someone has a bad game, they say it.
But meanwhile CKAC is still protesting the Latendresse trade, and they claim he never had one bad/lazy shift playing with the Habs.

I never, ever thought I would see the day where I would be able to actually cheer for a BC grad but Gionta has done it. Now I hope he will mimic what he did at BC, lead a team with a long championship drought to the title.
They wanted to keep it secret and unveil the captain today, or when the teams full roster is announced.
But, thanks to the franch media’s persistent need to always break news stories, whether they’re true or total bs, the Habs’ plan to keep everyone in suspense was botched.
Thanks alot La Presse, way to ruin someone else’s plan. But all that matters is that they sold a couple more papers today and got some free advertising for their name.

Good choice for Captain. I am glad the decision has been made as we can now focus on issues of more consequence…like who is better – Halak or Price – just kidding!
Seriously, there are several players who are deserving and would do an admirable job, among them Cammi, Gorges, etc. But I like the choice because Gio is under contract for several years, he puts in a great effort every game, and he is well respected and liked by the players.
Now let’s get Markov extended for 4 more years. I can understand the delay due to Markov’s knee. I hope management has been in touch with Markov and his agent and expressed a desire to get it done by Xmas after seeing how Markov responds to the surgery.
I am quite optimistic with our team. No doubt we will encounter a few obstacles along the way. But I think management has done a good job of clearing out the distractions and working with the cap space available. Several underperformers from last year will take it up a notch and as a result, we won’t be fighting for a playoff spot at the end of the season. We will be fighting for home ice advantage.
I think a main reason Markov didn’t get the nod over Gio is because of his uncertainty next season. Who wants to give the C away just to see this whole debacle happen again next season?
Great choice, a leader who does not make wreckless statements or a media hog (see Diane Fanoof), a proven winner with great credentials. I also agree with the above mentioned choices for the A.
Just purchased NHL11 for X360 last night. GREAT game! Pre-season is an excellent addition!
I started my “BE A GM”(game play dif: allstar / gm skill: medium) after the draft as the 2010 drafted players are already with their team. My first preseason game, I had the bulldogs pretty much as my roster and made cuts, on the 4th and last pre season game I had my full roster.
Cammy(A)-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta(C)
Pyatt-Lapierre-Palushaj
Moen-Halpern-Boyd
*Darche
Markov(A)-Subban
Gill-Gorges
Hamrlik-Spacek
*Picard, O’Byrne
Wild card on this team is Palushaj, rated at a mere 73 overall, the guy produced big time in 4 pre-seasons games (3G-4A)…he has good speed and a decent shot!
Eller being a 75 overall, bigger but slower just didnt respond well to my controls…centering 1st line on the dogs.
Just can’t wait to get off of work now to get regular season on the go!
That was the issue during the regular season as well. Habs played very well against the elite scoring teams and failed miserably against the more robuste teams. If that changes during the regular season it will change during the playoffs as well.
BTW guys, Kevin Weeks was the one who 1st broke this captaincy story…
If any of youy guys remember, he said Brian Gionta should and would be captain of this team, last year on NHL on the Fly. I remember it because I laughed so much at how he said it. It was after game 1 of the season when we beat Toronto in OT, and he was analyzing the game when he said:
” Brian Cionta (See-on-tah) is the Habs’ real captain. That’s right folks, Cionta, not Gionta, because he should have the C on his jersey.”
Coming from Kevin Weeks, I laughed so much. Only he could say something like that. But the dude was right….

You don’t need a goon like Pronger or Phaneuf in the line-up to be
tough. You need character (which we have a lot of) and a handful of
well muscled guys who won’t back down. The Habs WILL be tougher with PK in the line up every night, a gritty and smart guy like Halpern around and O’Byrne a year older. Tough enough? Hard to say, but I think the team is moving in the right direction. One or two more toughness upgrades and we could be looking pretty mean.
And what alot of people don’t realise is how a playoff run like we had last spring makes everyone gel. Everyone grows together, and becomes brothers with everyone on the team. You don’t go deep in the playoffs if you don’t care about your teammates.
I’m positive that run helped our guys become a tight group, and whether or not they’re 7 feet tall, they’ll all stick up for eachother.
In the end, it’s not whether you won the little fights or not, it’s about showing up. And this group of guys looks like they’re at the door waiting, they’ve already showed up. They don’t seem like they’re a group of guys that will crumble and not stick up for eachother like some of our teams in the past.

Valid point. HOWEVER, we have had few captains than years in the NHL. I’m not a big fan of ceremonies. But for our Captain, for me its different.
I feel like I missed something. Can you imagine the feeling Gio would get, having the flame passed to him by Beliveau? Can’t tell me you don’t want to see that…
There may be other teams, but only ONE Club De Hockey…
Canadiens have a better sense of spectacle than that.
They’ll replace Gio’s first tee-off ball with a firework which, upon impact, will rocket up into the air and explode into a red, white’n'blue C to the oohs and ahs of the gathered.

Quebec, maybe, but the Quebec media will never accept that – they need the divide to sell papers and keep viewers and listeners – it’s all about the benjamins [as they say in the US].
Been trawling YouTube for hockey highlights all summer, compliation vids, Top 10s of the best players, massive Forsberg and Lemeiux highlight setups, Datsyuk’s magic and more.
That and a trio of Stanley Cups on NHL 10 under Captain Gionta, anything to stave off the lack of hockey.
That’s why I had no problem with Price sticking his stick out at a Caps players in the playoffs last year. Everyone went crazy and said he’s immature, and it was a stupid thing to do.
Well I’m sorry, who won that series again?
Now I’m not saying that it was Price’s little slash to that Caps player that won us the series, but it’s often a mixture of little things like that that can piss off the opposition and get them off their game.
For me, that play was a show of emotion from someone who was sitting on the bench and said, “My team is getting killed and humiliated out there, I HAVE to do something even if I’m sitting on the bench.”
That’s called caring. You can think it was dumb, but I don’t see it like that. Carey could have easily pouted and cried on that bench, seeing he had become the teams backup goalie. He could have shut up and said nothing, and not cared, and just waited for elimination.
But instead, he did something because he cared. That’s what being a team is about. Doing anything possible to win and stand up for your players.
I really think Carey will carry that into this year, and we might just be witnessing this kid growing up into what we all know he can be.

There is just too much getting along in here, quite boring.
Although I love Gionta, I feel the need to introduce some venom to make things interesting. It’s becoming the nod in agreement sycophant club.
Here goes nothing:
Gionta is a tiny little boober. Our captain should be bigger, tougher, and score more goals. if I was GM I would pick Vinny LeCavalier as captain. So there!!! ;-p
”Last season we couldn’t win at home and we were losing on the road. My failure was that I couldn’t think of any place else to play.” – Harry Neale
I agree. For some reason players seem to get away with a lot in front of Price. Price is big. I know you need your goalie to be disciplined but the next time someone blatantly runs him he should just land on the guyand come down with his blocker on his face.
You’ve got to make a move like that from a cool strategic place. Price was just reacting, and that’s where the immaturity comes in.
The ultimate example of a strategic hit is the famous Kovalev one are Darcy Tucker, or you may remember Dougie Gilmour (as a hab) destroying a Buffalo Sabres player who ran Theodore (and we had no one who did anything).
As much as I like Gionta, I was concerned about him as captain until I thought of Doug Gilmour, who I would take as captain anywhere, anytime. Not big but with the heart of a lion.
Let’s cheer him on. And let’s hope Price has grown up over the summer.
Hey, I’m balanced… when there are good things I’ll say it. I do think this team could be a step up this year, PK’s arrival on the scene being an important part of that.
Here is hoping to enough mild injuries that our old guys are fresh for the playoffs, and so the JM has no choice but to play O’Byrne 70+ games and the let the kid grow and make some mistakes without looking over his shoulder.

But it is not each time I go back to Montreal I hear the divide and conquer talk all the time the Referendum word is always in play I debate with my mother all time and she says the Habs are not french enough ect ect.( BTW she is 100 percent french) I understand the respect for all cultures as I have friends from all walks of life. Maybe Gilles Duceppe should try and have some respect for all cultures that live in Quebec, but he won’t as he is fixing for another referendum. Life is very rewarding when you don’t see things black and white.

I Born A Giant, indeed.
My understandin’ is Gionta will eagle the par-3 5th hole and, with everyone watchin’ as he leans over to retrive the ball, he’ll instead pull the C out the cup and hold it up while tippin’ his visor to the smatterin’ of applause.
The plot by the federalists against Quebec is coming full circle as the Canadiens are going to name a American captain. I love it when a plan comes together.
I still want to see a ceremony… Beliveau passing the torch. Something like that. Last time something like this happened didn’t we beat Boston 5-0????
Let’s start our season off like that.
As for the A’s. There are too many guys on our team to decide. Gorges, Gill, Markov, Cammalleri and PRICE. OK so I just put Price in there to piss a few people off… But we do have alot of great leaders on this team. HOWEVER, I do believe it will be Gill and Markov.
When will next week come? I can’t wait. It’s been WAY TOO MANY MONTHS and we left on such a high….
There may be other teams, but only ONE Club De Hockey…
Habs have 4 or even 5 good to great candidates to be captain.
Gionta, Gomez, Cammi, Pleks, Markov, Gorges, and even Gill. There is a lot of character in that last sentence and in the room. Time will tell whether this edition succeeds or not, but I am firmly in the “very low expectations” corner.
The team is not physical enough to get past teams like the Flyers. Speed is fine and dandy during the regular season. That is taken away in the playoffs by tougher checking and more attention paid to scorers; even if the Habs make it.
Run it by Burkie to see if the Leafs would be cool with us doing a ceremony in their barn.
There’s no need for another grandiose ceremony for these guys. They’ve done enough of that in the last year and a half. Just let them go out and play some hockey.
I could dig that. Six official languages. French, English. Italian , Spanish, Chinese and Arabic.
We could call our team the “Multicultural Metropolitans,” you know? United Humans of North-America. UHNA.
Oh, man, that would be so friggin boss! Habba Akbar!!!

I think it’s inevitable that Gorges be given an A. With Gionta as captain I see the A’s going to Gomez, Gill, Markov, Gorges, and Cammie interchangeably.
But goshdarnit I really thought Laraque had the chops to captain this club. Dreams be dreams.
I think it would have been much of a distraction for him. He already focuses on the media attention a lot, I think it would prove to be overwhelming for him when it became an expectation for him. It would possibly detract from his game. I like him as a very outspoken but very productive member of the team. Gionta is very much like Koivu in the respect that he never quits, makes his teammates better and seems like a genuine guy off the ice. Great choice by the management though definitely a guy the team can rally around.
Never mind La Presse, apparently it’s a done deal! When your GM “tweets” the following, it’s safe to say GIO is our new CAPTAIN…………….CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Sucks for Cammy but GIO is a great choice!
“Brian Gionta has been a positive force both on and off the ice since joining the team. This is a proud time for him and the organization”
Time to stitch the “C” on my GIO jersey!! Hell ya!!
If indeed this was a choice of the management then great job, Gio! However, I, like most fans, would’ve liked the players to choose their captain.
Also, a part of me would like to see this be a pre-game announcement but then two things popped to mind, a) we start the season on the road (in TO no less!) and b) we’ve had two years of pre-game ceremonies and they didn’t always work for the best.
Good idea to keep this announcement blue collar and avoid all the hoopla.
Yeah that sounds about right. Last year at this time there was so much talk about the team “gelling”, and now we’re fresh from a deep run in the playoffs, with a well respected captain and a lot of potential.
My choices, Markov and Georges. I think Cammy and Gomez have enough pressure to perform, whether it be goalscoring or living up to a contract big enough to buy the whole world. They can always be leaders, just without the visual proof. Markov deserves it, basically he’s our Russian cop. And Georges, simply because I think he’d jump infront of a bus to save anyone.

This happened to the leafs and phaneuf, the news came out before the conference. News is news.
“It’s too much for one guy to shoulder. For us, we’re going to do it as a group. It’s about sharing that responsibility win or lose.” – Mike Cammallerie
Good on Gionta, it was pretty much inevitable he was going to get the captaincy anyway.
Goalies in Montreal have two roles, netminder and scapegoat.
Like I said, I wrote Gionta on one side of the coin with Gio on the other side.
Perfect choice, I hpe the rumour is true.

Didn’t the Habs say they would announce it?
I clearly remember Gauthier saying that, and unless La Presse was baught out by Molson, then this was not announced by the Habs.
Who knows, maybe the Habs botched it and let the news leak and now we all know. Or, maybe certain people were told to keep their mouths shut, and they couldn’t.
All I know is that it woulda been nice for everyone to wait for the official live announcement from the Habs.
Bope, maybe it’s just the morning and I’m bored, and I’m complaining for nothing.

Mike, unfortunately, you’re the one who always plays the ‘language issue’ card on this site. This is not the first time you’ve taken an issue and turned it into a language thing.
This is not the forum for this kind of bs. Take your hating elsewhere, and talk about hockey here, please.
—Hope Springs Eternal—

OByrne has been pretty good at chuckin’ knuckles.

Here is another “brilliant” thought. Maybe you should be the next P.M. of Canada.
I like better this: who will finish higher, Tampa or MTL….?
I can picture this debate gettin’ real nasty. You’ll have a bunch of Boucher, Yzerman, Gainey, Gauthier, etc……Like the good ol days.

I don’t think there was any bad motive here, they knew we wanted to know and they simply shared. If they didn’t someone else would have.
Maybe, just maybe….

Officially, that’s true. But, umm, isn’t it spelled Geoff?
Go Habs Go!
OK, next debate.
How about this: do we need a goon?
The French media are out to get you.
Always a reason to be angry, eh?
I have no problem with this.
—Hope Springs Eternal—
That’s what I was thinking…

Should have been Lapierre, or Darche….

This is a great moment for the team, and as we’re all fans it’s something that’s easy to get on board to support.
Go Habs Go!
heh now im concerned about gio being named if you agree with it, considering how your never right about anything
Holy Cow Harmony on the HIO boards.
I like Gio for capt.
Most important statement point you make, “I think the players will play for him and respect him.”
GO HABS GO!
I think a main reason Markov didn’t get the nod over Gio is because of his uncertainty next season. Who wants to give the C away just to see this whole debacle happen again next season?
Happy with this, and more importantly, I think the players will play for him and respect him.
Markov will still have respect and people will listen to what he says in the room, but Gio can deal with the media.
Now all he has to do is learn French, and EVERYONE’S happy!!!

Great choice, a leader who does not make wreckless statements or a media hog (see Diane Fanoof), a proven winner with great credentials. I also agree with the above mentioned choices for the A.
Good, this guy stands up tall with his heart on the ice.
DP, I Michael J Fox that button earlier…
Great selection. Truly deserving. Bring out the leadership group at the tourney today!
Go Habs Go!
Gio would have been my pick. Who would have guessed that Management could finally get something right. Miracles can happen.
I agree this is a great choice. Too be honest, it says something when you have about 5 players that are all derserving of the C.
I was secretly hoping it was going to be Markov as an insurance he will be back after this season.
Congrats to Gio. He has earned it his whole career
Woulda loved it if Gorges were captain, still proud to have Gio as the leader though.

thats not really the point now is it….
That was the issue during the regular season as well. Habs played very well against the elite scoring teams and failed miserably against the more robuste teams. If that changes during the regular season it will change during the playoffs as well.
weve just ended a year of patting ourselves on the back with ceremonies, enough already

Why not make Carey Price captain? We all know how well that experiment worked in Vancouver.

True dis….very true…

Canadiens have a better sense of spectacle than that.
They’ll replace Gio’s first tee-off ball with a firework which, upon impact, will rocket up into the air and explode into a red, white’n'blue C to the oohs and ahs of the gathered.

Solid choice. Small guy who goes to the net. Good example for the rest of the players.

Man it isn’t easy keeping up with HIO when you have a job and a wife and kid and a drinking schedule to meet.
To failing hands we’ve passed the torch.”
And you know…
That’s why I had no problem with Price sticking his stick out at a Caps players in the playoffs last year.

Yawn …
———
Listen to the SmartDog. He knows his poop!
“To failing hands we’ve passed the torch.”
Add to the fact Gionta is not french or Canadian, that should add some gas to your fire.
He will also lead us down St. Cathrine street with the silver ware in the spring!!!
Thanks for the cookie!
Hey, I’m balanced… when there are good things I’ll say it. I do think this team could be a step up this year, PK’s arrival on the scene being an important part of that.

Still I bet it came from high up and slipped out. Gio will be the C
Haha ya, something slipped early.
Go Habs Go!
Do you have any other “intelligent” ideas!
Hmmmm and what becomes with the rest of Quebec?
they can continue being self detrimental while we get back on track as a world class city
There was a rumour this summer that Toronto wanted to become it’s own province.
So if they can, I say Montreal can as well.
Perfect I would move back to Montreal in a heartbeat if that would happen

Great choice!
Gorges should get an A.
I think it’s inevitable that Gorges be given an A. With Gionta as captain I see the A’s going to Gomez, Gill, Markov, Gorges, and Cammie interchangeably.
But goshdarnit I really thought Laraque had the chops to captain this club. Dreams be dreams.
Further proof of the wisdom of crowds I guess. He’s media savvy for sure. I woulda picked Cami. But that’s me.

Listen to the SmartDog. He knows his poop!

Congrats to Gio, he earned it.
- I shall always remember Captain Koivu.

Hell ya!!
“SAKU, SAKU, SAKU, SAKU, SAKU, SAKU, SAKU, SAKU”
If indeed this was a choice of the management then great job, Gio! However, I, like most fans, would’ve liked the players to choose their captain.
Also, a part of me would like to see this be a pre-game announcement but then two things popped to mind, a) we start the season on the road (in TO no less!) and b) we’ve had two years of pre-game ceremonies and they didn’t always work for the best.
Good idea to keep this announcement blue collar and avoid all the hoopla.
GO HABS GO!
From what I heard in the various interviews since the end of last season, the players would have most likely voted for him anyway!
I agree with your selection of A’s.
You’re not serious with your dreams of a C on Laraque’s jersey, right?
GO HABS GO!
Good for him! I will wear my Gio t-shirt proudly
Great choice…and I’m glad they took a year off out of respect for Saku. Gionta is a great leader, and well deserving.

Good Choice…Experienced guy…has won a Cup…gives full effort every shift…
Cammy is a leader but he does not need the distraction of the C…he just needs to pile up the points.
“Six more years…God Bless You Turtleneck Man!”
Yeah that sounds about right. Last year at this time there was so much talk about the team “gelling”, and now we’re fresh from a deep run in the playoffs, with a well respected captain and a lot of potential.
I expect great things on October 7th!
GO HABS GO!
OOOOKKAAAAYYYYY….
Who do the “A’s” go to?
-Cammy
-Gomer
-Gill
-Georges
-Pleks
-Markov????
My choices, Markov and Georges. I think Cammy and Gomez have enough pressure to perform, whether it be goalscoring or living up to a contract big enough to buy the whole world. They can always be leaders, just without the visual proof. Markov deserves it, basically he’s our Russian cop. And Georges, simply because I think he’d jump infront of a bus to save anyone.

I got AK at under 64.5 pts, with Triple X and Tom Nickle.
The A’s are Markov and Gorges i think

If I had to guess I bet Markov and Gill.
Very happy that Gio is getting the C but I wonder how long before the language issue surfaces, again.

“Is that jersey of yours a Gionta with the C? lol
I just watched an interview with Gionta and someone asked him if he’d get a tutor and he jokingly replied his son , it’s always an issue it takes no time at all usually

Well. The Canadiens ARE a plot by Federalists against Quebec….right?
right?
Right.
great choice. hard worker , experienced and media savvy player.
Yup…
He ain’t no Jason Spezza when it comes to interviews….

it’s not weird that Price refers to Pierre Gauthier as P.G…..oh and his message to all of us is that we have a great team and were going to have fun

PG’s ego gives a limited number of people that “privilege” and what did you expect him to say!
Good on Gionts. I think he’ll make us proud.
GO HABS!
Excellent choice. Congratulations Gionta!
I think his age and the 1 year left on Gill’s contract kills the idea.
I too think he’d fit the bill, but it wouldn’t be a great idea to have him get an A and then not be re-signed. Unless they know something we don’t know, which is quite possible, then I’d rather hand it to Georges or Cammy right away.

Yeah but A’s are never permanent, they move around all the time. Nothing wrong with giving Gill an A for this season.
Is GIO the first American Captain?
Oh, as I was typing it I remembered Chelios.
2nd .. Chris Chelios was the first
Renaud Lavoie reports that Roman Hamrlik will be out 2 to 3 weeks. Knee. He injured himself this summer
P.K.! P.K.! P.K.! and who else?
.“It must be love!”
I just heard that too, P.K. for sure who knows who else though

O’Byrne and Alexandre Picard would likely fill in, assuming Markov is still out.
Oh come on
I wanted an injury-less season…
I think Montreal should just separate and join Ontario…Then Ontario can have an NHL franchise !
Montreal should be its own province. One Island, One Province!!!
You mean he doesn’t have a goofy grin on his face all the time?
Go Habs Go!
hes still pretty abbrasive, says um too much
That’s why pre-season becomes all the more important. Alexandre Picard? Weber?
P.K. – Spacek
Gill – Gorges
O’Byrne – ???
“It must be love!”
My guess was right! Excellent choice!
No, it’s all the Americans’ fault! (joke- for those with extremely thin skin)
