The Canadiens were up 4-0 on the Calgary Flames at the Bell Centre Monday night, then imploded in a Flames comeback that tied the score 4-4. It was up to P.K. Subban to give the Habs a heartstopping victory, burying a pass from Scott Gomez past Calgary goalie Henrik Karlsson at 1:06 of overtime to decide it.

Other goalscorers for Montreal were Lars Eller, Michael Cammalleri, Andrei Kostitsyn and Jeff Halpern. Montreal goalie Alex Auld, starting his first game for the Habs on home ice, was pulled for Carey Price after yielding four goals on 24 Flames shots.
