Another road game, another loss.
The Canadiens scored before the game was a minute old and played a solid first period.
Then a pair of Too Many Men penalties inside of a minute opened the door for a Martin St. Louis’s power-play goal that brought the home team to life – and sealed the Canadiens deeper into the tomb they’ve inhabited through this road trip.
Steven Stamkos scored twice, including a penalty-shot spinerama that infuriated Carey Price.
For habs farmhand Cedrick Desjardins gave up a goal on the first shot he faced, then made 24 saves.
Not hat he was under any great pressure from a popgun Habs attack and a power-play that went 0-for-5.
Not much time to mope.
The Canadiens play Florida at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
