Not the least bit surprised to be honest… I wonder what happened. He had a bright and promising future and seemingly threw it away.

The Habs: A bright future indeed~

SO LONG SAMSONOV YUH BUMM,MAYBE YOU CAN WRITE A BOOK,HOW TO GET RICH IN THE NHL WITHOUT EVEN TRYING.

Enjoy playing in Mother Russia with your pal Yashin – hopefully this will be the last time we Habs fans are so badly let down by a so-called superstar.

  4. 24 Cups says:

Seven million dollars over two years – for absolutely nothing. And to think that some fans have to save all year to get two tickets to a game so their child can see an NHL contest up close. Despicable.

  6. Da Hema says:

Perhaps some of the posters who insisted it was Carbonneau’s fault Nancy Samsonov could not play with the Habs would now be honest enough to acknowledge their errors.

I will not, however, hold my breath….

This guy used to be a great player but lost all desire. Imagine that Gainey unloaded him immediately after 1 year and people still question Gainey as a GM.

  10. madhabsfan says:

Good riddance Samsonov! And take your arrogant, self-righteous personality with you.

  11. TradeRyder says:

It’s all Gaineys fault! Or Carbos! Or the skate sharpener! Or the pizza guy! or…… just never mind!
