So of course you had the Philadelphia Flyers roaring from behind – again – and incredibly beating the Penguins in Pittsburgh 8-5 (!) on Friday the 13th. Right?

The Penguins are now down 2-0 and clearly on the ropes heading the Flyers’ raucous barn for Sunday afternoon’s Game 3.

Elsewhere Friday: Detroit evened their series with Nashville, hanging on for a 3-2 victory, while the New Jersey Devils opened in Sunrise, Fla., vs the Florida Panthers, also winning 3-2.

Out in Vancouver, the Daniel Sedin-less 2010-11 Stanley Cup-finalist Canucks stumbled against the Los Angeles Kings, losing to their visitors 4-2. L.A. now holds a 2-0 lead in that series, which returns to Tinseltown.
