Kyle Chipchura
Centre on Habs’ fourth line tonight
The whirlwind of attention tonight will be around Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, who’s making his highly publicized National Hockey League debut against Sidney Crosby’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
But also playing his first NHL game will be Kyle Chipchura, pencilled in to centre Steve Bégin and Mathieu Dandenault on the Canadiens’ fourth line.
John McGourty of nhl.com wrote a really nice piece on Chipchura in 2004, on the occasion of the player being drafted into the NHL by the Canadiens.
