We saw this coming.
In the wake of the injury to Mike Cammalleri, the Canadiens have called Aaron Palushaj up from the Hamilton Bulldogs.
No defenceman has been called up, which probably means Jaroslav Spacek will be available for the home opener on Thursday.
The team announcement:
The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has
been recalled from the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.
Assigned to the Bulldogs on October 5, the 22-year old forward registered two assists (0-2-2) in the Bulldogs’ 5-2 victory in their season opener against Rochester on October 8 in Hamilton.
Palushaj registered four points (1-3-4) in five preseason games with the Canadiens.

Any update on Ryan White’s progress?

I saw a Canucks fan mention an Eklund Rumor where they’d obtain Booth (I hear he’s been saying this for a while) and I totally know Eklund makes 99% of his BS up. I was feeling bored so I wanted to see if he’d bite on a rumour I made up and tweeted to him. I told him Gomez + Gallagher to Min for Zidlicky. Watch for it!
I can’t believe this guy is founder and CEO of hockeybuzz.. not that I like it, but it’s popular and based on what? bullcrap and guesswork? I need to start me a company
I know who Eklund is! He’s from Montreal! (e5)

anybody thinking about going to the bulldogs game at the bell center on the friday night of the summit?
Yeah, I was going to go.
Wow, there is hardly anyone at the Stars game tonight. This has to be embarrassing for the league, particularly when they claim that there are no other franchises in danger of moving.
Because the texas rangers were playing a playoff game.
C’mon Showey, don’t let the truth get in the way of a good slam against hockey in the United States!

GO HABS GO!
Another bogus call by a ref tonight. A tripping penalty on dman Nikita Nikitin for getting the blade of his stick stuck in an opponent’s skate (leading to an eventual pp goal). What the hell can one do to prevent that? Why doesn’t the league look into designing skates to prevent it? It’s a simple modification that’s long overdue.

The hole between the boot and blade runner is there to prevent snow buildup on your blade runners. It also makes them lighter. Best advice, keep you stick out of the opposing players skates. It has no business there anyway, chances are the puck is about 3 or 4 feet away on the players stick.
We know what the gap is for.. the advice isn’t really helpful, and you’re placing liability squarely on the stick holder, which isn’t always the case.

Yes it is,players are held responsible for you own stick. Besides, how often do you actually see something like that happen each season? You can probably count it on one hand ,even if you have the hands of a lousy workworking teacher. Good to know you got to learn from me what the gap between the skate boot and runner is for. At least talking to you wasn’t a total waste of my time like it usually is.
We’ve spoken? Watch much hockey? Sticks and skate blades are often in proximity..it’s inevitable, especially fighting for pucks in the corners. So a player reaching for the puck with his stick and an opposing player blocking said stick with his skate to cover/protect the puck..the stick blade inadvertantly gets stuck making it an automatic penalty for tripping? If you think that’s right/fair, so be it.

no, he played junior (amongst other things)
From what i have read. It was more along the lines of the OHL and possibly the NCAA or minor pro. Regardless, the guy has cred here.
The league has to implement a referee that can overturn bad calls or increase or decrease the time served in the box, they do it for goals, in fact use the same system. It wouldn’t be necessary but for the fact that some of the calls by Refs have been nothing short of fantasy .Give each team 2 shots per game to question a call. They already have the missed calls problem and should be enough!
I didn’t like the way Cammi left the ice.
Is this weeks or months?
All I keep hearing is 2 weeks but there’s been nothing official from the team.
I would say 3 weeks to a month. Then you have both covered.
Cammy apparently said on RDS that it wasn’t serious and he would be back very soon but I think he was just trying to sound brave and tough in front of Chantal Macabee.
Boone is going to knock him the F out.
Boone has been working on Chantal for 3 years now. He has had his chance. If nothing has happened after trying for that long, then Cammy is able to step in and try his luck. Sorry Boone.
Cammy is damaged good and limping, I cant see it happening, plus Chantal likes to have a good laught… Boone’s still ahead.
No trust me her natural female instinct to want to nurse him back to health will have her climbing all over Cammy
hard to tell. didn’t Gill play with a similar cut either last season or the previous one?

And TB is in for more trouble, Ohlund, one of their Ds who can tie his own skates is out for two months after getting both of his knees scoped. They lose another guy, Stevie Y is going to be knocking on OUR door for a D-man.

Are you guys not in the Montreal area being blocked out from listening to TSN team 990? This started happening to me as of a few hours ago. Can somebody else try, please?
http://www.tsn.ca/Montreal/listen/
WHAT A JOKE!!!
I’m so upset about this. I live in Toronto and I AM A HABS FAN!
I want to LISTEN to their games on the TEAM 990!
One of the reasons I was comfortable moving out here was that I knew, no matter what, I wouldn’t lose touch with the Montreal Sports through Team. Now TSN is telling me I CAN’T? What the hell!?!?
I really really hate this
This has to be a glitch…. Can’t see TSN shooting themselves in the foot. At least it isn’t playing Leaf games instead….. TSN=Toronto Sports Network!!
Even the app I have for my iphone now says “This stream has been geo blocked”
I think Bell dish carries Team 990… that is if you have Bell, of course.
Even Bell’s own app stopped streaming it. Friggin’ joke.
Yeah the Bell app stopped too! What the hell? This is not fair.
The only way around it, and it’s a bitch, is to download a program that blocks your IP address. I guess I have to do that.
But I am never again using tsn.ca or watching stupid tsn.
Try Tunein Radio. I use it to listen to the Team 990 when I can’t get home to watch the games.
I’m in Montreal so I tried the other stations (‘peg and Toronto) and they both work so they must only be out to block the Habs feed.
Olé, olé, olé oleé
…I am not into sports radio like TEAM/TSN 990 or any other …but out of curiousity, after receiving the IPOD update I thought of your concern, and tested if I could receive Montreal’s TSN 990 on my app here in British Columbia
…in short, I can
…and, after listening to it for a half hour I was reminded why I don’t listen to sports radio

Why didn’t they call up Trotter when he had 2 goals and 2 assists in the Bulldogs opener?
thought the same thing and he is a centre.
Trotter would have had to be placed on waivers when he was sent back down.

Too good for that league, but it’s the right place for him. Love how comes back with a goal after being responsible for the Royals goal.
Wow… He will be good in a year or two. I have to agree with Mark C, he wasn’t quite ready this year, but should eat up the WHL and maybe make a “big” jump next year to the BIGS!
damn, 5 point game? that’s amazing, I hope he turns into something special for us. thanks for the link ’09.
Grabs talking about the Habs dressing room when he was with us:
Grabovski remembers a vastly different dressing room environment in Montreal during his early NHL days.
“Everybody made a group,” he said, “and they [stayed] in groups; French guys with French guys, Czech guys with Czech guys. Here [it's] better because everybody’s together. It doesn’t matter what kind of nationality.”
So says the player who skipped a team flight 13 games into his NHL career becaues he didn’t like being scratched.
This is just like when he ran his mouth about Andrei Kostitsyn. The guy can not help himself at times, ah well, at least he hasn’t gotten trashed at a bar and accosted someone like at the Olympics.
- I shall always remember Captain Koivu. Habs and Hockey.
SF09 on Twitter
I dunno, I can sort of see it being like that back in those days.
I know that Kovy hung around pretty much exclusively with Markov and the Kostitsyns.
The dressing room didn’t seem that together.
I have a feeling a lot of that had to do with L’Artiste, as much as I loved him, I don’t think he was much of a ‘team’ guy.
—Hope Springs Eternal—
It had a lot to do with a captain who didn’t care if it was 4 or 5 dressing rooms, not 1.
durocher – “Grabs” is full of BS. He wasn’t able to break the lineup here in Montreal and now is a top six player on a team that can’t make the playoffs. Sure the Maple Losers won their first game, but remember last year when they started 4-0 and still missed the playoffs. I believe that the Habs will be in the playoffs again this year, while the “L”osers “E”ven “A”fter “F”orty “S”easons will be on the Golf Course!
knowing martin, he’ll start the lines like this:
AK-Plek-Cole
Pac-Gomez-Gio
DD-Eller-Palushaj
Moen-Engqvist-Darche
and will end with Cole on the 3rd line, Moen/Darche promoted to the 1st, AK on the Eller line.
I think DD-Eller-Palushaj can be an interesting line. Lots of speed and all 3 players have much to prove this season. DD and Eller are essentially trying to prove that they can be 2nd line C caliber, and Pal wants to make the jump to the NHL. Could be a line with lots of energy. I liked the way Palushaj played in his last 2 pre-season games. Hustled on every shift, cycled the puck well along the boards, and we all know Eller is capable of protecting the puck like that too.
———————————————————-
It’s P.K. Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime
Really would have taken either Trotter, Blunden or Gallagher, or even White or Weber, over Palushai. I just dont beleive this guy has what it takes to be a top 9.
And he it too weak defensively to be and on the 4th line.
Gallagher is tearing up junior. Let him have a career year and win Gold in the WJC, then we’ll see next year at camp. He’ll still end up playing atleast 30 games with the Dogs.
White is injured….
Weber is playing D while Spacek is out (even though IMO he deserves to play D over a healthy Spacek).
Trotter isn’t any more responsible defensively than Palushaj.
Blunden is a grinder, no way he fits on the top 9.
You’re losing Cammi here. Calling up Palushaj over a plugger makes more sense because you want offense.
So really it was really between Palushaj and Trotter. Palushaj had a better overall camp than Trotter IMHO even though he started slow, looked nervous. He still finished with 4 points in as many games I believe.
———————————————————-
It’s P.K. Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime
White is injured, Gallagher can’t be called-up because he is in the WHL and he has no contract, Blunden is a proven AHLer who will never play in the NHL again and Weber will play on a fourth line, which is difficult enough for a defenseman, or on D if Spacek can’t play.
It was between Trotter and Palushaj, and the Habs made it clear that Palushaj was going to be the first call-up when they kept him until the last minute. I would also like to see what Trotter can do, but give Palushaj the first look and let his play dictated if he’s staying or if he gets leapfrog by someone else.
How does Guy Boucher use Nate Thompson and Dominic Moore in the shootout! I can’t believe it. One of them, maybe, but no Marty St-Louis in the first 2 shooters is crazy. You deserve to lose.
Vinny, St. Louis, and Stamkos don’t get one chance between them? That’s like Cammy, Gio, and Pleks getting pasted over for Eller and Moen. Nate Thompson as a career SH% of 5.
Fire the coach!
Must be too deep for us mortals to understand. As you well know Guy Boucher is one of the greatest of all time.
GO HABS…
He is rewarding them for something. The top line maybe wasn’t very defensively responsible and he is benching them. Boucher is a good coach. I am sure he had his reasons
When the two points is on the line? You think Nate Thompson felt rewarded by making his team lose? Guy Boucher would lose a tie game out of spite? Great way to justify him being a good coach (I’m not saying he is bad, but COME ONNN)
Edit: 1 point, but still!
Its like what carbo did when our PP struggled. Put guys like lappy, tom the bomb and whatever other 4 liner we had out there. He thinks he is embarassing the star players but in reality he is embarassing the guys he is putting on the ice. I was hoping to see tom pyatt out there taking a shot.
When Boucher does it, he has valid reasons.
If JM was to do it, he’d be hung out by his not-insubstantial ears.
—Hope Springs Eternal—
That’s my point. All the JM haters would have a field day if JM used Moen, Eller, Darche, ect. in place of one of the scorers.
I dunno… After that move Moen pulled on “Pavelectric” the other day, I’d be tempted to try him in the shootout ;D
Wow. 9 goals (and 25 total points) in the Tampa Bay-Washington game and not a single point tallied by:
Stamkos, Lecavalier, St Louis, Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, or Green.
Weird…
10 goals now. I know both teams will finish higher than us in all likelihoood but I thought Boudreau was preaching defense? That’s 8 goals against in 2 games. And TB’s defense is suspect, anyway. No “system” in place, obviously.
That was last season’s mantra. He’s since changed his philosophy, yet again, to who knows what.
Tampa’s been out shot 85-54 over the last two games. When that happens in Montreal the fans want to fire the coach.
Wow, I guess Boucher might not be the second coming of Scotty Bowman, then — at least not just yet.
Tampa was also terribly outshot in the first round of the playoffs against a pens team without crosby and malkin. It seems bouchers system really isn’t all that affective unless they have a great powerplay. According to last years stats 2/3rds of his players were minus players. You would think with marty st.louis having 99 points he would be alot be better then an even player. Boucher was originally offered the columbus job which he turned down to take the tampa job when it was offered to him. I have serious doubts boucher would have put the jackets in the playoffs last season and nobody would be talking about how we let boucher get away. But don’t be surprised if his name comes up in 2 years to replace martin.
Question! What happens if Emelin and Diaz show continued improvement & consistency over the next 2 months to warrant 18 minutes a game and Markov and Campoli return in that same period. Who do you sit? Obviously you play Markov but who do you sit Campoli or Diaz or Emelin or play 7 D!
Hopefully by the time the playoffs roll around bodies are healthy and a couple young players have found their way. The starting six should be: Markov, Subban, Gorges, Gill, Yemelin and Campoli.
Weber should be traded, Spacek should retire and Diaz should be a healthy scratch.
spacek
Campoli sits, he was an add-on for depth to start the year and doesn’t bring anything that special.
- I shall always remember Captain Koivu. Habs and Hockey.
SF09 on Twitter
You’d sit Campo before Spotcheck? Interesting. I don’t know if I’d do that but it would be nice to have some options for a change.
Can we send Diaz down?
If we can, have the 7D as Subban, Gorges, Gill, Markov, Spacek, Emelin, with Campoli in the press box. Although I’m sure JM will probably switch Spacek and Emelin out for some games if they play badly.
25 before 14
..make a trade…we need 2nd round picks as we were handing them out like candies the last few years and we need to stock up the farm
How about Travis “The Rocket” Moen in the Winnipeg game!
Did he have fire in his eyes on that goal or what?
He had a a heck of a game all around, I thought. He even through in a spin-o-rama on one play for good measure.
It would great to see him put forward a better season than we saw last year.
Hahah… Yeah, I could not believe it when i saw it. I was looking for #76.
Moen didn’t really impress me all last season. maybe I just can’t see all the little things he does right, but i didn’t see the grit, or the secondary (tertiary?) scoring. I hope he proves his doubters wrong this year!!
Martin has to use Cole better than the 1st two games!
“Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing”
I’m as excited to see Gallagher play with “Le Gros Club” as the next guy, but I don’t get you people who want to rush him up for 9 games. Yes he had a 5 point night in the WHL, but he had no, or virtually no points in the pre-season. He’s almost ready, but not quite. He needs to play the season in the WHL and another in Hamilton before he makes the team.
Look at Brock Trotter, he had a 4 point night in the Bulldogs last game and nobody says a word about him being passed over for Palushaj… In the words of a great hockey player, “Relax, chill out, we’ve got lots of time…” to see what our Rookies can do.
“Let’s be clear on the facts…”
trotter has to go thru waivers and palushaj doesn’t
I’m pretty sure trotter only had to clear waivers on the way down, not on re-entry. I thought he would be the first callup due to his impressive first game in hamilton but palushaj,i felt, had a better camp in montreal then trotter which probably played a big factor.
I think more than anything, it’s about the kind of player they need. To the coach, it’s not about how many points they pot in at a low level, but the kind of consistency they bring night in and night out. Gallagher brought fantastic effort and creativity for the entire pre-season, but in the end he couldn’t break onto the scoreboard. Trotter, who came back from Russia with some fancy new skating and puck-handling has shown flashes that he could bring the offense on a given night, but has not shown his ability to bring that effort night in and night out the way Gallagher did. Palushaj has, over the past two seasons, shown his stability, both physically and mentally. He doesn’t lose his cool when he gets sent down, but works harder to be called back up. He doesn’t bring his absolute best each night, but he brings a decent game night in and night out. Exactly what JM likes, consistency. That’s what earned all of the callups a permanent spot. That’s what the system calls for.
“Let’s be clear on the facts…”

***Subbang Baby!!!***
Kind of like that. A lot actually! American line is a good idea. I really like the third line and I hope thats what it would be when things settle down.
Anyone else getting the feeling Palushja is going to score a hat-trick in the Habs home opener. I have been sitting here for the last 3 minutes since I read he was called up and all I have been thinking about is him getting a hat-trick. I haven’t had this feeling since game 2 of the Cup final between the Habs-Kings and I felt Eric Desjardin was going to pot 3 goals in that game.
haha to answer your question – no, I don’t have that feeling. If he does I’d be happy for him, but who is he going to take out of our line up?
I lost a little faith in him when I didn’t see him busting his @$$ in the corners and tallying up the points, which is what is expected from a guy wanting to make the next step, and playing as many exhibition games as he did.
At this point I think DD, Eller, AK is a very good 3rd line(when Cammy and Eller are healthy again), and I don’t see Palushaj beating any of them out of a job. And he isn’t really the kind of grinding hockey player to be a 4th liner.
what your psychic every 18 years?..too bad it was not in game 7 vs the bruins…
Remember Brendan Gallagher? He just had a 5 point night for the Vancouver Giants of the WHL – 3 goals and 2 assists.
He doesn’t have a pro contract and can’t be called up. He’ll be in junior for the entire year ripping it up.
25 before 14
I think this is a great situation for Emelin. He can play relatively free of the pressure to not make mistakes. This should bode well for his development.
When Markov gets back this duo should take off; and, with Gorges & Diaz along with PK & Gill I’ll be liking our defence a whole lot.
When Campoli comes back, around Christmas, we’ll have plenty of options for defensive pairings against different opponents.
We just have to hold the fort for awhile.
No biggee!!! Huh?
its been a while since the habs have gone into the post season with extra players, it can either continue to be bad or it can start to get better and make another run , this time with some fire power , who are healthy
I don’t want to see a defense with Weber, Gorges, Diaz, Spacek and Campoli on it, I believe that is asking for multiple beat downs in Beantown (and Philly, Toronto, MSG, Anaheim etc etc etc…). That’s a ringette defense. We’d be run out of the league.
“The point is that Fergie wasn’t, and didn’t have to be, a non stop brawler. His hard earned reputation preceded him, and he could keep the opposition in line without spending all night in the penalty box.” – Jean Beliveau
I agree. With a healthy Markov & Campoli I see defensive pairings as:
Markov – Emelin
Subban – Gill
Campoli – Gorges
Diaz
Weber, Spacek
FWIW, and it’s not much, this is how I see it too. Can you fax this to JM? I’d feel fairly okay going into the playoffs with this 6/3.
Those pairing you have listed might be enough to squeak by. I’m hoping Campoli can impress a little more when he gets healthy cuz he looked shaky to me and he got leveled a couple times.
Then there’s keeping your fingers crossed that Markov stays healthy and gets back to a premier defenseman, that’s no guarantee.
Quite a few “ifs” and “buts”.
I would still like a big stay-at-home defenseman added to settle things down back there.
sigh, we would have a pretty sick defense with everyone healthy…
Couldn’t agree more. I hope they keep playing Weber up forward and use him on the point on the PP. Besides we need someone to drop back for the inevitable fallen Dman. Harhar!
By xmas we will have at least half of our D regulars so I wouldn’t be dreaming of any pairing combinations now. Some Tweaking™ will definitely be required.
Watching the Bolts & Caps Game here. MAB is lookin’ fierce!!!
Just thought you’d like to know.
Meanwhile Gallagher just had a 5 point game in the WHL. Really could have held onto him a bit longer.
From failing hands…
The WHL is a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnng way from the NHL. Gallagher may make it…in a couple more years.
thank you for your invaluable leadership and veteran commentary. “gallagher may make it” yes I suspect he may
From failing hands…
Add Eller; leave Spacek out even if ok to play and Weber back on D. Weber, Diaz and Emelin all looked fine and worked hard in Wpg.
lets see your lines
A modest day for Brendan Gallagher in the Western Hockey League:
Deciding to ensure victory, Gallagher scored three goals and two assists in a 5-1 victory over the Victoria Royals, tying his career-best of 5 points in a game, marking his 4th career hat trick, breaking the 100 career goals mark to hit 102, which is 25 from setting the all time goal scoring record on the Vancouver Giants. He is 62 points from setting the all time points record for the team. His current points streak stands at 7G, 2A in 4 games.
The slow start by the Habs is countered by the fast start for the prospects. The pain and glory of a training camp that has a development philosophy.
Well said! Couldn’t agree more.
How can you say slow start after two games? I would agree after 8 or 10 games and playing .500 thats slow, but come on, two games in we’ve outscored our opponents almost 2:1. Lets give them a bit of time no?
I hear what you’re saying but my implication stands. I am talking comprehensively, including the pre-season games, the injuries, the shortie against, the loss, and that even though they beat the Jets they were out-shot and had a little help from the reffing. It took 4 periods for them to score a goal. Just nuances.
My point was that the focus on the training camp development look see has boosted the prospects, even the players who went to Hamilton, and that it has been at the expense to certain degree of the parent club.
The bottom line is the organization has a structure to have experience rub off and transfer from the veterans and coaches to these up and comers and future hopefuls.
It’s not a leap of logic to suggest that the team is still in a bit of training camp mentality still if not conditioning-wise as well because so much time was spent giving the prospects a closer look and more ice time.
Except Price. He’s money already. The rest will follow suit and step in line quickly.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is other teams are going to take runs at the Habs for the remaining 80 games. The best answer to that IMO is to make the opponent pay on the scoreboard.
If the Habs can score they are going to get creamed a lot less than if they don’t. That should be motivation enough to stop shooting wide or into the net minders logo.
About DD 2 season 118 and 108 with Chicoti… are those two kind of the same player ,Gallagher could be in better shape at the same age but DD got very good understanding of the game and this from Boucher
Huh I didn’t realize DD did so well in the CHL… TBH that’s a little disheartening that I see Gallagher is of the same caliber in the WHL and both have the height disadvantage.
IMO Gallagher is ahead of the curve compared to DD. Desharnais played 4 seasons in the QMJHL and then 4 in the AHL (ECHL time in there) before making the NHL at 24. DD had to scratch and claw his way, which is a testament to his determination. One of the many reasons why I like him. What’s more remarkable is that he made a team that already boasts Cammy and Gio. No tall order.
Gallagher if anything could be on the team by the time he’s 22.
From what I saw from Gallagher during camp he plays a lot, and I mean a lot, bigger than he is.
Different styles of player though. Gallagher is a natural goal-scorer while Desharnais is a playmaker and his extra 2″ in height over Desharnais are significant enough to show he’s got a better body for pro hockey and seems to be physically stronger as well IMO. Gallagher’s skating is ahead of DD at the same age too, let alone when he’s had 2 or 3 more years to improve it, the WHL is a far tougher league for a small man to succeed in as well.
And Vancouver Giants HC Don Hay is no slouch for coaching, he won a League Championship with the Giants in 2006 and a Memorial Cup in 2007 and has twice been named Coach of the Year in the WHL. He’s helped 13 players get drafted by NHL teams since he took over the Vancouver bench as well.
- I shall always remember Captain Koivu. Habs and Hockey.

LOL! I never saw that episode yet .
I watched “6 Days to Air” last night. It’s the laughumentary showing the making of that episode. I almost laughed something loose watching Trey Parker try to giggle his way through voicing that very scene. It’s pretty funny stuff. Interesting also was hearing Matt describe the limo ride with Trey to the Oscars while they were both wearing dresses and tweeked on LSD sugarcubes. Also, I’m not sure how, but Bill Hader managed to park himself in the writers room for the duration. He just seems to be the guy who tells them when stuff is funny. He does some voices too. I always thought he was a pretty funny guy but I like him even more now.
You forgot Eller, bud. He’s back for the home opener.
Blundin has not been called up.
Eller is back on Thurs.
JM will play a vet with a rookie on each D pair, so no Weber/Diaz.
JM will sit Engqvist and place Weber on the 4th line.
Isn’t it possible that Spacek won’t be ready, but Eller will be and Weber will slide back to the D?
Man am I ever excited to see Palushaj get an extended stay with the big team!
Entirely possible. I think Boone might have just not thought about it, or he knows something we don’t.
I think one of the two (Spacek or Eller) will be ready soon, but think Eller will be first and Spacek could be a week.
So Weber back on D.

Go Habs Go!
And you’re excited about Palushaj because?
I just got a feeling that he’s gonna be a good one – this year’s Desharnais.
Is the league going to fine Philthy for selling the Habs damaged goods (Blair Betts)?

“Hey Richard, two minutes for looking so good!”
Not likely if Bettman said they acted in “good faith”
It’s not as they traded him to the habs, they picked him up on waivers.
The more I read, the more it sounds like Betts may have been the one selling!
Apparently he has said that he now needs surgery.
Oh sure, they often suspend, fine and discipline players and teams for f*ing the Canadiens. Eh?
“The point is that Fergie wasn’t, and didn’t have to be, a non stop brawler. His hard earned reputation preceded him, and he could keep the opposition in line without spending all night in the penalty box.” – Jean Beliveau
I would assume Weber is moving back to D, and Spacek will be out for the next game. Otherwise there isn’t a need for an extra forward, since Eller should be back.
Go Tigers! Is this the right site?
It is if, when they don’t play to your ridiculous expectations, you do any 4 of the following 5 things:
1) Scream for the firing of the head coach and/or refer to him as the character off some box of kids’ cereal;
.
2) Remind everyone about how the wrong one-year wonder was traded away (pitcher instead of goalie, I guess);
3) Propose that the season is over, and the team may as well lose every game on purpose from here on in so they can get the top draft pick;
4) Accuse team management of not consulting their crystal balls when under-achievers suddenly show a bit of promise once traded to another team;
5) Long for the return of a one-sided player who was otherwise a team liability, whose initials were MAB (for you, Timo
If that’s the case – you’ve found a home, brother!
Hahah too funny. Good to know. Of course the Habs is my obsession, but I love the Tigers too. Thanks for the info hehe.
Nice avatar.

It might be time to change it up anyway.

It’s like a Hollywood script in here.
Thanks. And you can make several epics with Pernell Karl!
