Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban after practice.
Stubbs video capture
From practice at the Bell Centre, where the Canadiens practised this morning following their first of a scheduled two team photos this season (the second would come after the trade deadline with the roster headed toward the postseason, touch wood).
Michael Cammalleri, cut in the leg eight days ago in Winnipeg, skated part of the practice and while he’ll miss tomorrow’s home game against Buffalo, head coach Jacques Martin hinted that the forward might be back by the end of the week, the Habs in Pittsburgh on Thursday and home to Toronto on Saturday.
Defenceman Jaroslav Spacek, injured (ribs?) in the same Winnipeg game, skated after practice and is said to be about two weeks away. Seen in the dressing room following his skate, he declined interview requests, joking, “I’m not here.”
Forward lines were unchanged from the Saturday game against Colorado, but defence pairings were tweaked: Gill with Diaz, Gorges with Subban, Webber with Emelin.
Some video from today (apologies for the colour balance of the raw action):
