The Boston Bruins had a brisk, all-hands-on-deck practice – and an intense 40-minute session it was – at their Ristuccia Arena training facility in Wilmington, Mass., this morning.

There was a whole lot of traffic creation and physical action in front of the goalies and the mood was at times serious, at times a little light.

And there was no sense of defeat in the Bruins dressing room afterward, Brad Marchand going so far as to say the Bruins fans weren’t booing their own team, but more expressing their disgust at the Canadiens winning. Whatever.

I was in interview scrums with Shawn Thornton and Michael Ryder and was front-row almost centre for coach Claude Julien’s news briefing afterward. First up: Habs coach Claude Julien from the team’s 5 p.m. media availability.
