Daniel Brière scored twice in overtime Sunday, once with a soccer kick that was disallowed, then with a seeing-eye slapper that did count, to carry the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils. The win gives the Flyers a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal.
In Glendale, AZ, the amazing Phoenix Coyotes knocked off the Nashville Predators 5-3 to give the Yotes a 2-0 Western semi lead heading back to Music City for Game 3.
