Tim Thomas is also one of the oddest players, personality-wise, in the National Hockey League.
Can you imagine if Price had been hurt, even inadvertantly? I don’t mean Thomas doing anything, he could have hurt himself on Thomas bean head, or twisted something – really easy to do when you are out of your element, goalie equipment is awkward as hell when you’re not actually goalie-ing.
Watched the game clips again this morning, trying not to over react, but it was just as bad as last night.
Our guys showed some spunk, I’m proud of them, actually, but that game was pretty humiliating.
And I think the myth of Gomez providing ‘leadership’ in lieu of anything else is finally obliterated.
If PG addresses this by the trade deadline (even symbolically, obviously it’s going to be difficult) I think it’s important.
