Michael Cammalleri in the dressing room after practice. Radio-Canada’s Guy D’Aoust begins the interview; Cammy’s immediate response and expression is priceless.

The Canadiens will turn to backup netminder Alex Auld Thursday in Ottawa to face the Senators, a former team of Auld’s, in the Habs’ penultimate regular-season game.

Head coach Jacques Martin is expected to return to Carey Price for the season finale Saturday in Toronto.

At Brossard practice Wednesday, the injured Jeff Halpern (lower body/back) did not take part and Travis Moen took a therapy day. Alexandre Picard and Andrei Markov worked out before the practice with strength and conditioning coach Pierre Allard.

Martin would not commit to the return to action Thursday of defenceman Jaroslav Spacek, nor the reinsertion into the lineup of D Yannick Weber. Decisions to come following the morning skate or pregame warmup.

• Tickets for the Canadiens’ first-round playoff games at the Bell Centre go on sale Saturday at 2 p.m. Online purchases only, a limit of two per customer, at the team web site, www.canadiens.com.
