Audio: Hamrlik still out

AUDIO: Jacques Martin | Brian Gionta | Michael Cammalleri | Carey Price | Hal Gill

The Canadiens had their first taste of the new Consol Energy Center today and came away impressed with the building and the visitors’ dressing room, which they described as the best in the league. This is their first visit since they closed The Igloo by eliminating the Penguins in the playoffs and Hal Gill, who has played for both teams, said he expects emotions to be high for tomorrow night’s game.

“We both lost our opening games and there’s history after last year’s playoffs,” he said.

Defenceman Roman Hamrlik continues to work out but coach Jacques Martin said he won’t play tomorrow. He said the target date for Hamrlik is Wednesday’s home opener against Tampa Bay. And Martin said he’s happy with Andrei Markov’s progress and expects the team’s No. 1 defenceman to play sometime this month.

Michael Cammalleri returns to the lineup after serving a one-game suspension. Mathieu Darche will likely be a healthy scratch to make room for Cammalleri.

The lines: Cammalleri-Plekanec-Kostitsyn; Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta; Eller-Halpern-Lapierre; Moen-Boyd-Pyatt

* Average viewership for RDS’s game telecast last night: an enormous 852,000

But if it is called privacy, what is it doin on the internet ?

  2. WarHero says:

It’s called privacy Bill 🙂 I will release the details as soon as I can. They are not finalized as of yet. However, I will confirm that it have something to do with me and a hockey team 🙂

Oh, and it’s nothing to do with Hockeybuzz, I only write there because I can’t write full blogs here:)

Never judge another man’s decision poor until you actually have proof of it failing!

  3. LA Loyalist says:

You are probably right. It’s kind of blurry. I just remember that he was somewhere and I could have gone and didn’t. I was travelling a lot then, waking up in hotel rooms to generic FM radio and not knowing what city I was in.

    Work, not drugs.

    Doesn’t change that it sucked.
