From Washington, Pat Hickey files audio from morning skates ahead of tonight’s Eastern Conference quarterfinal Game 1 between the Canadiens and the Washington Capitals:
• CAPITALS: Bruce Boudreau | Nicklas Backstrom
• CANADIENS: Jacques Martin
Jaroslav Halak was the first Canadiens goalie off the ice, so expect him in nets tonight against the Capitals’ José Theodore.

So much for Holmes on Homes being on Prime Time !
(I get it, I’m assuming spelling mistake – BTW I almost wet myself when Bobo said that, cause I just got HD for the Olympics too)
Habs, OLE !
Anyone excited yet…
In the dressing room before the game tonight, Martin needs to go full
Spartan and make sure his boys know what their profession is. Then
they can’t lose.
I’d say he’s not your goalie and this isn’t your team. You’re one of those silly Price fans who puts your favourite goalie ahead of the team. Halak got my team to the playoffs. I expect him to perform as well in the playoffs as he did in the regular season.
Cheering against you own team. Loser.
Lets start a liitle competition. Guess how long it takes for our goalie to get pulled and/or The-odour.
I say Halak is out mid Second
Coach Martin say’s one…..one little forward…two….two lit..
any word on the goalie for tonihgt?
Clue: Stubbs’ last sentence.

I know one man who’ll calmly be playing the piano at home tonight in celebration of his unnappreciated work. Let’s “shoque the wourlde” GSP style.
He’s watching Habs playoff through HGTV…
