Canadiens head coach Guy Carbonneau ran his team through a practice at Verdun late this afternoon, then met the media to discuss his club’s success in Game 1, what he hopes to do in Game 2, the play of Roman Hamrlik, his own lucky, unbeaten necktie, and more.

Defenceman Francis Bouillon will take a few days off skates to heal his right ankle, and captain Saku Koivu still has not skated since breaking a bone in his left foot on March 28. Don’t look for dramatic changes to his lineup Saturday vs. Boston.
