More video proof that this city is THE COOLEST!
L’Opéra de Montréal at Jean Talon Market in the Little Italy district.
That is so cool.
Definitely awesome. Should get them to sing the anthem at a game this year. And the ladies are hotties to boot!
Nigel Tufnel: It really puts perspective in things, doesn’t it?
David St. Hubbins: Oh, too much. Too much fu*king perspective.
–This is Spinal Tap
Absolutely awesome – BRAVO!
The cultural component of great cities is really what makes them great and its probably why Montreal has so many repeat visitors and ‘fans”. I grew up in N. Ontario and well remember my visit to MTl. in the summer of 1970…going to Man And His World on my own via the subway! WATCHING the Expos outside in the backyard in the Longueil house of my hosts..the street life downtown, the kindness of MANY strangers when I got lost a few times (Can you imagine letting a 13 year old kid wander a city alone in this day and age? LOL>>there would probably be a ruckus over that,,,but I loved it) Getting Beliveau to sign his bio “Strength Down Center” at …EAtons? Cant remember but I was in awe and he was soooo kind. He actually chatted with me for some time as I think he could see that I was a massive fan of his ..hardly able to talk.
I think Montreal people get used to a culturally rich environment and don’t realize how lucky they are. Mr. Boone seems to understand.
