A Night At The Opera

With apologies to the Marx Brothers, here is CBC’s very clever intro to Saturday’s Sens-Habs game.

Think Gionta can take Pavarotti’s spot on The Three Tenors line between Plácido Domingo and José Carreras?

Any opera aficionados out there know the name of the opera, the composer and the performer?

Any opera aficionados out there?

CBC’s video editors, they’re so great, why does the rest of HNIC have to be so bad at times?

Seriously! Whoever did this is quite talented. Too bad no one can say the same for Don Cherry

It is the first aria for Nemorino (a Tenor) and is called ‘Quanto e bella, Quanto e cara’. It is from Donizetti’s opera The Elixir of Love (L’Elisr D’amore). Go Habs Go!
