And your Montreal Canadiens are flunking.
Nem tudok semmit!!
It’ll go in off his butt.
Two nets wouldn’t be enough for the bum. His hands of stone have broken my fragile heart one too many times.
Too precise of a target. He’d shoot wide.
I guess no one has noticed the AK is currently on pace to have possibly his best season with the Habs yet… Put him in another 2 point a game streak for 2-3 games, and he will have 25-26 goals and 27-29 assists. He has been averaging between .55 and .67 points a game his entire career with us.
He is worth 2.5 – 3 million. We should keep him for that and hope with time he becomes a 25-30 goal scorer and a bit more consistent. Not the worst thing in the world.
There may be other teams, but only ONE Club De Hockey…
A friend’s 10 year old daughter is on epilepsy medication and it can leave her very lethargic and groggy.
Odd then that Gomez has one of the worst +/- on the team and he has been for the most part taken off the PK for quite a while now.
I think these guys are proving everyone wrong. Every time I see them they look great and just dominant. We’ll see.

I am not sure that benching Kostitsyn tonight is the right button to push for him. It doesn’t sound like the coach tried taking Kostitsyn aside, working with him or even talking with him, but just simply benched him for the third period last game and then followed that up with benching him for tonight’s game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Martin has explained it more to the press than he has to Kostitsyn (if at all). Perhaps he should have spoken with Kostitsyn and then seen how he would react to last game’s 3rd period benching before sitting him out a whole game in addition? There seems to be a lack of communication there and I don’t know if just benching him more is the right button to push. You certainly can’t treat all players the same, a good coach knows what buttons each player has that need to be pushed (and when to push them). Time will tell how this “lesson” works out, but I just don’t have a good feeling about it right now.
It is that easy – when u own a business… this pseudo commie needs a capitalist wake up call
I’m usually a big defender of JM, and I completely disagree with sitting AK. That being said, for everyone saying “Replacing AK with Pyatt when we need goals OMGWERGONNADIEZ!”, AK isn’t being replaced by Pyatt. Pyatt isn’t joining the top line to play 18 minutes tonight.
AK is being replaced by Eller, and Pyatt is going to play on the 4th line. AK shouldn’t be benched, and I spent time defending him yesterday, but it’ll be nice to see what Eller can do playing top line minutes.
Yesterday it was constant bitching and complaining that AK should sit instead of Pouliot(Oh look at that, Pouliot being the extra forward for a practice meant absolutely nothing? How much whining did we have to put up with on topic yesterday? *cough*Bugs*cough*), and now it’s constant whining about AK sitting. This place we’ll be happy. We could win the Stanley Cup this year in 6 games and people would complain that we didn’t do it in 4 or 5.
Aaron Voros who is now with the Ducks probably has Hungarian roots and Levente Szuper was Calgary´s third or fourth goalie a couple of years ago. Other than that? Nem tudom.
It’ll have to be a wide open net.
Now watch Pyatt score a goal and end up on the top line next game.
The most obnoxious franchise is in Foxboro, Mass.
So you bench Gomez for lackluster play over 20+ games and pretend it’s an injury while you make it clear that you’re benching AK for subpar play over 5-6 games…
I’ll keep repeating that I have no problem with sitting a guy when he sucks to send a message but then don’t turn around and reward a guy for his subpar play over a longer period of time.
