We lose because we have NO ONE that can score! When will we ever get a marquis offensive player? Cammy hits two Bruins facing the other way! Pleks can’t beat a DMan! Gionta shoots for the dead center of the mass! Gomez can’t beat a blind woman on roller skates on a penalty shot, ever! The guy hasn’t scored an NHL goal since Confederation!
As painful as this is, if we can finally get rid of Gomez, either by paying some Swiss team to take him (maybe Huet’s team is in the market for another free overpriced former-NHLer) or by making him a playing assistant coach in the ECHL, and get rid of JM, it will all be worth it.
So, Carey, the message is clear. If we’re going any deeper in these playoffs, you need to record back-to-back shutouts, because this team is good for one goal a game.
Well, the only thing certain in Game 6 is that we’re gonna get another heaping helping of dickshit hockey from Scott Gomez! Martin will never sit him.

This game bites, but there is some real character on these Habs. I really wish we could see what this team is made off but they have too many injuries that may make it difficult to overcome. Not once have I seen this team quit, they battle it to the end injury after injury. Yes every team has injuries, but lets be real, how many teams have lost there best player thats not a goalie in Markov and their best shut-down dmen in Gorges, then our most dominant PF in Pax. Chara missed one game and we saw what we happened to them, Pronger missing this series, we saw whats going on there.
So honestly, we are still very much in this series, we win at home on tues and wed is a crapshoot. go habs go!
Good comment, habs99. You can’t fault the boys tonight — they gave it their all. Bruins got most of the breaks — again! It almost seems as if something’s written in the stars. Certainly hope not. Here’s hoping the Habs bring 60 minutes worth of what they brought in the first half of Game 4 on Tuesday night.
I dont see the habs losing all 3 games at home. I know all the pressure will be on them, but we have been playing with pressure the moment markov went down. C’est la vie!

AKost is the reason for that goal. He was lost and allowed himself to get picked. If he’s involved in the play the shot never even comes through. Still, the boys had tons of chances and couldn’t finish. Great game, them’s the breaks. It’s amazing how the Habs have kept this series so close with so many passengers: Gomez and Moen have been brutal all series, Gionta slightly less so. Kost was awful tonight, too.

Gomez hasn’t scored a goal since February 5th, has 2 goals since Christmas, is -3 in this series. Eller’s all over the ice and looks better every game. It’s well past time they put Eller on with Gionta and gave him someone to play with already. This inability to score out of a 7-8 million dollar forward is beyond unacceptable by now. That’s not even considering the empty net shots Cammy and Plek both missed. They need a forward on their top two lines that can find the net..

no one to blame on the habs, even spacek had a good game, if anything Lucic made the nice Pic on that play. there getting luckier at this time than the habs, maybe we will get the breaks for the next two games. i thought we got screwed a penalty or two, chara is arm around gionta in overtime, the bastard likes to hold up players with his stick or arms, those are calls!!!
Habs will win game 6. Game 7 though I make no predictions.

Ya, this is beyond ridiculous by now, they need to either buy him out or find a way to trade him (we’ll give you this if you agree to take Gomez from us too). He’s trying, but eventually trying just isn’t good enough out of your top line forwards and Eller’s earned more ice time in this series with his play.
