Whatever happens this year, with all the injuries we have had this season these playoffs will give our youth some quality playoff experience. White, Desharnais, Price, Subban, Eller… etc.
I know I’m biased, but it seems they blow the whistle every time the puck gets within two feet of Thomas. I know I’m wrong, it’s just subjective, but it’s still frustrating.
Eller has looked rather nervous on a couple of occasions, making two pressured passes, leading to Bruins opportunities. Let’s hope one of the greybeards can calm him down.
I don’t understand you people. That’s a *textbook* hook, and has been for 6 years now. It was a fine call. If that went uncalled against the habs, you’d be up in arms. Take a step back, and realise that the refs aren’t out to get the boys.
I have been a habs fan since I was old enough to know what hockey was, or how to recognize a logo. I simply don’t get why people have to assume there are factors like a referee conspiracy out to get them.
Instead of criticizing the refs for a perfectly good call, why not discuss the play that led to it.
I *am* a habs fan, and rarely ever talk tough over the internet. I didn’t call them names, or insult their man/woman-hood. I just made a comment?
I understand emotion, but I don’t understand when people let it run roughshod over their otherwise sound ability to reason in a sitaution. That’s all.
Edit: All I’m looking to do is increase the level of discussion and debate from ‘the refs hate us’ to a slightly more cogent examination of the play.
Hockey Inside/Out encourages lively debate, but there is a zero-tolerance policy regarding racism, profanity and behaviour that we deem to be offensive.
We will, without warning, ban those who do not abide by this simple rule, so as to maximize the enjoyment of readers and participants of both sexes and all ages.
I’m sure Julien can forgive Kaberle, it’s been awhile since he’s been in the playoffs!
I wanna see white and Marchand go at it,but way to go price!!!
Please get outta the zone ffs!
Beware the late one
boy, we need some time in the other end
“Extremism only serves one’s selfish desires”
One minute in the zone, all perimeter hockey… no shots.
It’s like a power play
That rat-face Marchand has been their most dangerous player. Lurch has been a non-factor so far. Just let the giant sleep.

If Pouliot had Marchands heart, well, it would be awesome
“It’s not an obsession, It’s a way of life..”
As long as we can keep them to perimeter shots like that we’ll be ok
Can the Habs not skate with these guys? I wanna see some offense!
I know everyone says that 2-0 is “the worst lead in hockey”, but I’m gonna go with 1-0 personally.

mmm.
Marchand is perhaps the biggest a$$hole in hockey.
He was in Moncton, was in Halifax, probably was in Providence, and definitely is in Boston.

agree
looks like something you find in a NY sewer
Marchand is getting chances but shooting like Gomez.
Think JM having coached Chara before is paying dividends for HABS NOW.
not exactly since Julien has coached hamrlik, markov, pleks and AK…
But none of them is as big a factor (potentially) as Chara is so knowing his weaknesses is a great bonus.
Not going to beat Pricey on a shot like that.
Not trying to knit pick but pouliot is useless so far
“It’s not an obsession, It’s a way of life..”
Sopel is so slow out there…….
C’mon boys, let’s get another one on Timmy the Tuna.
Valium for Boone 7.50
Habs scores the next goal! Million Dollar Stick!
Elated Boone blogging after that… priceless!
Bruins look like they are running out of gas.
Offside – by a whisker. Ryder was allowed to keep coming with a guy 5 feet offside in the first.

This game is gonna give me a coronary. Great game though.

Boys got to pick it up. We’re too much on the defensive.

The Boston fans are “disgruntled” Bob Cole says: you don’t hear enough about types of gruntlement these days.
And the colour guy uses the phrase “Glasgow kiss”–he’ll have been watching some BBC TV…
Sh*t. That was actually a good call.
will there be one game where we are not shorthanded more than the other team

do you really need it explained to you?
they are fans who are emotional about their team
you, you are a troll, who actually joins a site of a team that isn’t your favorite team, just to talk tough over the internet

Legit call.
looks like theyre callin penalties to even it up a bit. i say pleks SH!!!
Good road game so far. Price looks great. We just need more Cam… and more cowbell!
There was a puck passed with a high stick by the Broooins… right before Spacek took that penalty. Where was that call????
In the playoffs they call that? Come on, man.
Carey Price is All Hart! http://on.fb.me/CP31Hart
Go Habs Go!
Support my playoff beard: http://www.beardathon.ca/english/RGM81/profile.aspx
Grip them sticks tight Bruins.

DD may be small, but he never shies away from contact. And that better not be against Spacek, he played that perfectly.
Wow – that’s a corrupt call.
WTF?!
