Man, I hate afternoon hockey.
Michael F. Leighton … again.
Quickness is lacking is what I heard. Hasn’t looked too bad in the couple of times I watched him play.
I am also courious. His plus/minus rating has always been excellent with the Bulldogs. (Even with Minnesota in 2006/7, he was a plus-4 in 9 games)
As a 1st round pick, he probably had something that attracted the scouts. And at 6-2, 232 lbs, you definitely cannot rule him out for his size.
I have always hoped to see him make the NHL. He’d be a good match to PK Subban for example, as a physical stay-at-home defender that shoots the opposite side.
My liver’s starting to feel it. Second beer, coming up!
At least I went for a bike ride this morning…
I’m not suggesting he is so good, I am asking if there is anyone out there who knows what his weaknesses are.
By the looks of things he’s not making any team in the near future. He has completely dropped off our depth charts, I am curious why. In fact he is UFA this summer and might not even be in the organization come next year.
If he’s so good, he’ll make this team next year.
I never heard of that chant for the habs and I find it totally contrary to what they are and what they represent.

Do you think the Canadiens made a good move trading Brandon Prust in exchange for Zack Kassian?
