Is there a reason live blogging doesn’t show up on HIO iPhone version (or even the Web version seen on an iPhone)? It’s a Godsend for us overseas viewers who have no chance to “see” the game, which sometimes we can’t even find online. Please restore it to the way it used to be! On my iPhone, the live blogging screen hasn’t shown up for the last 3-4 matches!

During my 20 years as a weekly newspaper reporter/editor, I had the “opportunity” to cover various oldtimers tournaments. Tonight’s game has the same pace and intensity of a 50 plus contest on an early Sunday morning, where the participants are nursing hangovers.

I love Cherry. Mr. Pitbull. When Ontario passed the pitball law, where was Don? On the sidelines with his mouth taped firmly shut, like some visor wearing wimp.
What is the purpose of Don Cherry? Seriously!
He does not analyze the games nor does he give insight to the coming games or playoffs. He spends the whole time using cherry picked clips to show how brilliant and right he is all the time. Then ends with the heroes section. I don’t begrudge honoring fallen soldiers, police or firemen but it does not belong on a hockey broadcast. CBC has gone downhill on all its sports coverage.
For new fans he is useless. For long term fans a pain. Fan comments are far more interesting!
