If that’s the best Price can do it’s over.

The Habs need to step it up big time if we are going to get another Montreal – Bruins Playoof series. Historically teams with these numbers on December 1st do not make playoffs.

Come on get it together and lets have some more fun in April.

    Go Bruins

Am i wrong to be pissed!!! I guess I’m just upset that I’ve come this far with an organization watching them since 1971 (maybe longer but can’t remember) and its come to this! Its kind of like I married Raquel Welch in 1976 and went to bed and woke up in 2011 with Drew Carey! I’m a lot disappointed!

JM is a one trick pony. Defensive shell. Problem here is he took credit for playoff run 2 years ago. I watched halak play superman and rob the caps and pens. They bareley got in. I wish they missed he’d be gone by now. Last year? we blew a 2 game lead coming home. 3 OT losses? His firing is long overdue. Without it we won’t be making the playoffs.

    Tough Loss? Yes.

But nowhere near as frustrating as the loss to the Ducks on Wednesday. The team competed tonight against a much more superior team. Managing a point was success IMHO.

This loss came at the hands of the coaching staff that sent out Travis Moen and PK Subban on the shoot-out, when there was clearly much better options on the bench.

This was the first game I’ve seen all season, having been overseas – much thanks to M. Boone and P. Hickey for their ever entertaining reporting.
It was exciting, despite the disappointment of such a loss.
All in all, the habs can play exciting and excellent hockey, but somehow, they lack confidence and the Ds inexperience and size are becoming more troublesome (pause).
Waiting for Markov to ‘smooth things out’ sucks. The habs can’t possibly hope to have any real success if the key to their entire team is a one-legged russian.
I’m not a fan of Jacques Martin…at all… It was nice to see him put in Moen for the shootout BUT I don’t think Martin realized that Moen played in SJ BEFORE they had Niemi…
And I would rather us hire Bob Hartley then finish the year with JM. Or Bring back Bob Gainey as coach, at least he’s a winner.

After reading most of the comments in the past 2 days, I think I can endure a couple more losses from the Habs if it’s the only way to get rid of Jm.As long as they go on a 10 game winning streak afterwards, and then clinching a playoff spot..All the while i’m winning all the money I lost betting on my team (mindlessly) game after game…..Ahh a man can dream right?

  9. phillyhab says:

Wow. JM finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The bench was a mess in the final minutes, and the SO list was ridiculous. This was some vintage Carbo — the head-scratchers that were used as examples upon his dismissal (though Metro on the PP proved to be a very good idea). Cole??? Moen??? Subban??? Why not Leblanc if we’re just flipping coins? Shootouts are a joke, but that’s one point this team will not get back easy. AK, Plek, Eller and Palushaj all would have been on that list before those 3.

It’s too bad P.K. didn’t score. I would have liked to see Nokelainen’s moves.

I’d like to have that still frame pic of Subban sliding into Price to the back of the net, and make it my avatar.

Markov was supposedly to get clearance to play

  12. billylove says:

Much better effort. Team actually played about as well as it could given back to back, injuries, playing against a better team. But this team is fragile and has to have excellent goaltending to win even with good effort and Carey didn’t have his best game (being kind).

I’m diehard Canadiens fan from the west, and most of my friends are Oilers and calgary fans, I stop betting on my team weeks ago,but i just can’t handle the cheap shots i hear loss after loss from the habs, i don’t understand they have great talented players but can’t win, if it’s the coaching then lets get someone else i mean c’mon i want to start betting again and braggin again. somebody HELP!
