They look a little better than in Pittsburgh, but they could hardly look worse, so that’s not saying much. Passes are off the mark, there’s little cohesion, the powerplay is a mess, and the penalties are driving me nuts. Leafs will score again early in the third, and that’ll be it. I don’t think a coaching change will make a difference, but JM had better start polishing his resumé.

The Monster has more big save than Price. This team doesn’t win unless Price plays spectacularly and hes below average so far. IMO.

Only silver lining is we’re only one behind with a period to go. I don’t know what happens between periods in dressing rooms, but someone better f#$kin’ stand up and motivate this team. The Leafs aren’t playing well at all. If we play like we care and with a bit of fire, we’ll win this thing no problem. But something needs to be said.

i remember a few years ago, i used to laugh at my brother ( a senators fan) because of the coach the Senators had.
the coach was boring and emotionless, and kept a talented sens squad from fulfilling their potential.

Absolutely no clue why Cole isn’t playing more, especially on the PP.
agreed,the guy played 19- 20 minutes per game on average last year in carolina and is on pace to get about 11 tonight.
Cole looks lost in JM system, seems to always be looking around wondering where he should be positioned in the neutral and defensive zones.. Its killing his game..
We need more energy on the 4th line.. ( white ) someone to come off the bench and land 2 or 3 good hits per shift..

Its not hard to play defence in your own end as a winger. Its about the same in any system,you cover the point between the defenceman and the net and try to keep everything outside the slot area. I have no idea what JM’s issue is with giving cole such little ice time.

I hate Darche but…… he can’t make most teams in the league cause he’s not good enough. But he’s good enough for JM the master of all things such as choking with the Sens, destroying the Panthers and now scribbling on a piece of paper. Maybe we need to put an accent on the E in Cole so JM thinks he’s French.

Please change the coach. Any team that takes too many men penalties at a greater percentage than they score on the power play needs a serious wake up call. Hell, I’d rather have Ron Wilson as a coach…am I NUTS!?!?
